We will be “camping out” in the church
sanctuary. The space will be set up like a
camp ground complete with tents, a (fake)
bon fire, (fake) trees, (fake) crickets and under (fake) stars. Boys will sleep in tents on
their side and girls will sleep in tents on
their side.
In addition to camping, we will have dinner, engage in NERF wars, watching
movies, playing games and “hanging out
by the fire.





SCHEDULE
7:oopm– drop off
7:30pm– dinner & movie
IN ORDER TO PLAY IN NERF WARS YOU
MUST BRING THE FOLLOWING:

9:30pm– set up “camp”
10:00pm– Nerf Wars Begin
Midnight– early pick up/doors LOCK
1:00am— games

2:00am– lights out
7:00am– wake up & clean up
7:30am– breakfast
8:00am– pick up
DINNER: In order to keep the cost of
this event free, we are asking that students BRING DINNER TO SHARE
potluck style. Bring a dish, any dish, to
feed about 4-5 people. It can be whatever
you want! Pizza, fried rice, chicken, enchiladas or whatever!
BREAKFAST: We are asking students
to bring a quick breakfast item to share:
bagels & cream cheese, Poptarts, things
like that.
Snacks to share (optional)
Sleeping Bag, pillow, toothbrush (you do
not need to bring an air mattress, we got
ya covered)
Pajamas, change of clothes, comfy
clothes etc.

Nerf N-Strike Elite Gun* (must not
have capacity more than 6 darts, must
not be pump action, not auto or semi auto) See picture below for approved Nerf

Nerf N-Strike Elite Darts (we want to
have as many darts as possible for this
event, so bring a bunch!)

Please bring (1) 75 elite dart pack, (1) 6 dart gun or (2) 3 dart pistols
**NERF WARS Approved Weaponry**
For the Nerf Wars games we will play, you must bring a Nerf N-Strike Gun and Darts. The gun has to be pump action (not auto
or semi-auto) and the darts need to be N-Strike plastic tip ones. You may bring one 6 capacity gun or two 3 capacity pistols.

By Checking this box, I give Rejoice’s leadership team permission to administer the following oral medications from the Rejoice First Aid Kit to my child should they feel my child warrants them. They do not need to call me before administering these
medications: Tylenol, Ibuprofen, or Advil for headaches and other minor pain relief; Medicine for upset stomach (TUMS);
Cold medicine (decongestant and antihistamine) for runny nose or sore throat
By checking this box, I am letting you know that I do NOT want you to give my child medicine from the Rejoice First
Aid Kit unless you call me first, no matter how minor the situation may be.
During this overnight event, we expect each student to conform to these rules of conduct:
No possession or use of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco, No fighting, weapons (other than Nerf), fireworks, lighters, or explosivesNo offensive or immodest clothing or behavior, No boys in girls’ sleeping quarters (tents) and no girls in boys’
sleeping quarters (tents). During “lights out” hours, no students may leave the sanctuary area including hallways, church
offices, sacristy or go behind a “closed door.” Restrooms are available for students, but boys and girls may not go off
alone. Participation with the group is expected, Respect of all property, Respect one another and adult leaders.
Any student(s) caught violating these rules will be immediately dismissed from the event and parents/guardians will be
asked to promptly pick their student(s) up regardless of the time of night.

Lock In Camp Out sponsored by Rejoice Lutheran Church 0N377 North Mill Creek, Geneva Il 60134. (hereinafter the “Church”)
This consent form gives permission to seek whatever medical attention is deemed necessary, and releases the Church and its staff
and volunteers of any liability against injury and personal losses of named child:
I/We the undersigned have legal custody of the student named above, a minor, and have given our consent for him/her to attend
events being organized by the Church. I/We understand that there are inherent risks involved in any ministry or athletic event, and
I/we hereby release the Church, its pastors, employees, agents, and volunteer workers from any and all liability for any injury, loss,
or damage to person or property that may occur during the course of my/our child’s involvement. In the event that he/she is injured and requires the attention of a doctor, I/we consent to any reasonable medical treatment as deemed necessary by a licensed
physician. In the event treatment is required from a physician and/or hospital personnel designated by the Church, I/we agree to
hold such person free and harmless of any claims, demands, or suits for damages arising from the giving of such consent. I/We also
acknowledge that we will be ultimately responsible for the cost of any medical care should the cost of that medical care not be
reimbursed by the health insurance provider. Further, I/we affirm that the health insurance information provided above is accurate
at this date and will, to the best of my/our knowledge, still be in force for the student named above. I/we also agree to bring my/
our child home at my/our own expense should they become ill or if deemed necessary by the student ministries staff members.
