Das Problem mit beschlagenen Spiegeln
nach dem Duschen gehört ab sofort der
Vergangenheit an. Das „MIRRO®“ Antibeschlagsystem findet überall Verwendung,
wo sich Feuchtigkeit störend auf die Spiegelnutzung auswirken kann. Das System
ist rückseitig auf dem Spiegel kaschiert,
so wird eingeschaltet ein Beschlagen der
Spiegelfläche verhindert. Ein weiteres Plus,
um den gewohnten EURASPIEGEL-Komfort
zu garantieren.

EU Verordnung 874/2012

T-5 Leuchtmittel
Bei den hinterleuchteten Spiegel mit T5-Stab­
leuchten darf der Kunde deshalb nach eigenem
Empfinden zwischen „cool white“ oder „warm white“
auswählen. Es besteht kein Qualitätsunterschied
zwischen diesen Varianten. Allerdings gibt es .

stunden. Dies entspricht bei einer täglichen
Brenndauer des Spiegels von 2 Stunden einer
Lebensdauer des T5-Leuchtmittels von etwa .

LED (Light Emitting Diode) sind eine innovative und
energieeffiziente Alternative zu den T5-Leuchten. Wir setzen hochwertige LED-Leuchtmittel ein, um
eine lange Lebensdauer zu erreichen. Die mittlere
Lebensdauer beträt bei LED ca. 30.000 Stunden. Das entspricht bei einer täglichen Brenndauer des
Spiegels von 2 Stunden, ca. 41 Jahre. Sie besteht
aus mehreren Halbleiterschichten, die bei Anlegen
einer Gleichspannung zu Elektrolumineszens .
führen, also Licht direkt aus Strom erzeugen.
LEDs werden verzögerungsfrei hell, lassen sich
sehr oft ein- und ausschalten und auch dimmen. Sie erreichen höhere Farbwiedergabeeigenschaften als Leuchtstofflampen. Mit einem Ra -Wert von
ca. 90 kommen LEDs nahe an das Maximum von
100, den das Sonnenlicht bietet. Die kleinen und
langlebigen Leuchtdioden senden kaum Infrarotund UV-Strahlung aus. Durch die Optimierung der
Wärmeableitung können heute bereits leistungsstarke Power-LEDs als Beleuchtung eingesetzt
werden, die ein intensives Licht erzeugen. Beim
Dimmen wird das Licht der LED dunkler, verändert
aber seine Farbtemperatur nicht. Mit dem LEDVARIO-LIGHT-System können Sie die gewünschte
Lichtstimmung in ihrem Bad erzeugen: Sie kann
uns glücklich oder traurig machen, beruhigen oder
aktivieren. Indirekte Beleuchtung schafft zusätzlich
eine Atmosphäre mit Wohncharakter.
Die meisten unserer LED-Spiegelmodelle werden
dem Wunsch der Kunden entsprechend mit LEDs
neutralweiß ca. 4000 Kelvin geliefert, auf Sonderwunsch auch in warmweiß ca. 3000 Kelvin. LEDs sind im Gegensatz zu Energiesparlampen
quecksilberfrei.
Lumen
Lumen bezeichnet die Strahlungsleistung bzw. den
Strom, den ein Leuchtmittel bei Betrieb erzeugt. Dabei wird die Lichtausbeute = Effizienz des
Leuchtmittels aus dem Verhältnis von erzeugtem
Lichtstrom zu der aufgenommenen elektrischen
Leistung (in Watt) beschrieben.
Lux
Die Beleuchtungsstärke Lux ergibt sich aus dem
Verhältnis von auffallendem Lichtstrom zur beleuchteten Fläche. Beispiel: Die Beleuchtungsstärke von 1 Lux liegt dann vor, wenn ein Lichtstrom
von 1 Lumen eine Fläche von 1 qm gleichmäßig
ausleuchtet. Die exakte Beleuchtungsstärke einer
Spiegelbeleuchtung sowie die Gesamtausleuchtung
des Raumes hängt somit auch von den jeweiligen
individuellen Gegebenheiten vor Ort ab, z. B. von
der Distanz des Betrachters zum Spiegel, Größe
des Raumes, Raumwinkel des Lichtstroms usw. Deshalb kann die Angabe Lux, bezogen auf einen
bestimmten Lichtspiegel, je nach Gegebenheit im
Badezimmer sehr unterschiedlich sein.
Lichtvarianten
Als Ergänzung unseres Katalogprogrammes gibt es
als Sonderanfertigungen hinterleuchtete Spiegel
mit T-5-Leuchten in „warm white“ und „cool white“
sowie mit LED in neutralweiß ca. 4000 Kelvin oder
auch in warmweiß ca. 3000 Kelvin.
Je nach Länge der satinierten Fläche liefern wir
preisgleich bei T5-Leuchten:
• 14 oder 24 Watt
• 21 oder 39 Watt
• 28 oder 54 Watt
• 35 oder 80 Watt

Warm white is more pleasant in living rooms and
bedrooms, while “cool white” or “neutral white” is
more suitable if functionality is a priority.
T5 lamps
Our backlit mirrors featuring T5 fluorescent tubes
consequently offer customers a choice between
“cool white” and “warm white” in accordance with
their taste. Although there is no difference in quality
between the two variations, the luminous flux, which
is measured in lumen, produces various results: a
cool white 8-watt T5 fluorescent tube has a flux of
430 lumen, while the warm white format has 295.
According to Osram, the average life cycle of a T5
fluorescent tube is around 20,000 working hours.
If a mirror was switched on for 2 hours per day, this
would equate to a T5 lamp life cycle of 27 years.
LED
LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) are an innovative and
energy-efficient alternative to T5 lamps. We use
high-quality LED lamps to achieve a longer life cycle.
The average life cycle of an LED is around 30,000
hours, which equates to a life cycle of 41 years if a
mirror was switched on for 2 hours per day. An LED
comprises numerous layers of semi-conductors
that produce electroluminescence when current is
passed through them, in other words generating light
directly from electricity.
LEDs become bright without any delay, can be
repeatedly switched on and off and also dimmed.
They achieve a higher degree of colour rendering
than fluorescent lights. With a Ra value of approx.
90, LEDs are just short of the maximum value 100
that equates to sunlight. These small, durable light
emitting diodes generate hardly any infrared and
UV radiation. By optimising heat dissipation, powerful, high-performance LEDs can now be used for
lighting to produce intensive light. In the process
of dimming, the LED light becomes darker, but
does not change its colour temperature. With our
LED-VARIO-LIGHT-system we enable you to create
the desired light ambience in your bathroom. Light
can make us happy or despondent, it can soothe or
stimulate. Indirect lighting can also create a cosy
ambience at home.
In accordance with customer requirements, most
of our LED mirror models are supplied with neutral
white LEDs with approx. 4000 kelvin, or alternatively
by special request in warm white with approx. 3000
kelvin.
In contrast to energy-saving lamps, LEDs contain no
mercury.
Lighting variations
Supplementary to our catalogue range, we offer
specially manufactured backlit mirrors using T5
lamps in “warm white” and “cool white”, as well as
LEDs in neutral white with approx. 4000 kelvin or
warm white with approx. 3000 kelvin. Depending on
the length of the sandblasted area, the following
T5 lamps are available at the same price:
• 14 or 24 watt
• 21 or 39 watt
• 28 or 54 watt
• 35 or 80 watt
If higher power ratings are required, please provide
details when ordering.
Lumen
Lumen measures the luminous flux, in other words
the power the lighting generates when switched on.
It specifies the luminous efficacy = the efficiency of
the lighting in the ratio luminous flux to radiant flux
(in watt).
Lux
Illuminance in lux is derived from the ratio luminous
flux to area lit. For example: an illuminance of
1 lux is given when a luminous flux of 1 lumen evenly
lights up an area of 1 square metre. The exact illuminance of a mirror’s lighting and total lighting up of
the room is therefore also dependent on the specific
local situation, e.g. the distance of the observer from
the mirror, size of the room, the solid angle of luminous flux etc. As such, the quantity of lux in relation
to a specific mirror can vary greatly depending on
the situation in the bathroom.
