Furrin Group General Meeting Minutes, September 16, 2014
The meeting was called to order at 7:45 PM by President Matthew Huizing, at El Barrio Restaurant.
Secretary - Mary Savage reported the minutes of the August meeting were passed out to members. It was
moved and seconded and voted to accept as printed.
Vice President - Mike Feldman had no report.
Treasurer - Blake Forslund is on vacation, no report.
Membership - Pete and Deb Hansen reported we have 177 members, a correction from last month.
Speed - Curt Rosenstengel reported an event this weekend at My Auto, about half of the pre-registrations are
Fiat 500’s. More info on-line or see Curt.
The next Rally Cross is October 11 & 12. He is working on a Rally Cross for November. “Bikers for Babies”
had a good turnout of 84 entrants; we sent about $3,200 to the March of Dimes.
Rally - Nic Boris reported no rallies currently scheduled for the rest of the calendar year. We may do a color
tour later in October, just as a fun event. If you would like to put on a rally or help do one, see Nic or Jeff
Boris.
Social - Mary Savage reported the committee is hard at work on the 60th. Gathering. Friday, October 10,
Boulder Creek. Get your reservation to Curt ASAP, lots of fun stuff planned; you don’t want to miss it.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Pete Hansen reported their youngest daughter, Lydia, ran Race Control Sunday afternoon at VSCDA Grattan.
John Atsma reported he sold the Spitfire. Curt reported he sold the VW, finally.
Ricky Del Rosario reported he still has the Alfa for sale that he is selling for friends, a big price drop.
Bruce Beauvais reported before the next meeting the LSPR will take place, the first one took place 40 years
ago.
It was moved, seconded, and voted to adjourn at 8:02 PM.

Registration and Tech 8:30am to 10:00am

80 cars max (Furrin Group members not turned away).
Preregistration will be capped at 70. After 70 you must be an FG member.
Unused spots will be opened to all in the week before the event.
