Strataflo No. 400 Check Valves with metal poppets are ruggedly
constructed and are suitable for a wide variety of applications
including hot water, cold water, steam, oil, gas, compounds and
chemicals. The one-piece body is cast brass; the poppet is stainless
steel. Like the
No. 300, a sensitive spring allows this valve to be used in any position. Working pressure 200 lbs. WOG, 125 lbs. steam. Maximum
temperature 300oF. Not for air compressor service.

NO. 351
The No. 351 Strataflo special check valve is designed for submersible pump installations. Similar in construction and operation
to the No. 300 check valve, the No. 351 has, in addition, a drilled and
tapped side outlet connection, on either the inlet or outlet side, for
attaching pressure switch, pressure gauge or snifter valve.
Body is one-piece, cast brass. Heavy bosses have been added to
provide proper thread length for leak-proof side connection.
Furnished with connection for either 1/8” or 1/4” taper pipe thread.
Specify whether tapping is to be on the inlet or outlet end of the
valve and what size connection is required.
NO. 352
The No. 352 Strataflo check valve is identical to the
No. 351 described above, except that drilled and tapped side outlet
connections are furnished on both the inlet and outlet sides,
as illustrated at left. When ordering, specify
what size connections are required.

NO. 325
The No. 325 Strataflo check valve is also designed for submersible
pump installations. It is similar in design to the No. 300 check valve
but is furnished with a male thread on the lower (inlet) end, for
attaching directly to the pump. Furnished only in the thread sizes
and combinations specified.
NO. 2300 & NO. 2400
For food and beverage applications where brass is not acceptable;
heavily nickel plated inside and outside, all exposed internal metal
parts are stainless steel. The No. 2300 has an odorless, tasteless
molded neoprene poppet on a stainless stem; the No. 2400 has an all
stainless steel poppet. Sizes andspecifications are the same as the
corresponding No. 300 and No. 400 check valves.

The very slight flow resistance of
Strataflo foot valves greatly
increases the efficiency of any
shallow well or jet-type pumping
unit.
They have a one-piece brass body. The unique strainer consists of a
helically wound stainless steel spring wire which is durable and cannot corrode. This strainer is self-cleaning, because pump operation
causes continuous motion of the spring coil. The taper-type siliconetreated
poppets hold tight without seepage, yet open easily and operate
noiselessly. They are tough, flexible rubber reinforced with a metal
insert. There are no springs, low flow restriction and loss of head.
Working pressure 200 lbs., maximum temperature 225oF.
All rubber poppets are now silicone-treated Buna-S rubber and are
reinforced with a metal insert. Poppets open easily and will not
stick.
Important: No. 200 standard foot valve will be shipped unless
otherwise specified.

Shock Absorber
All relief valves tend to chatter and vibrate at certain pressures and
volumes while operating. These by-pass valves are equipped with an
oil filled shock absorber. The dual chambers are connected by a
restriction port, to control the rate of movement of the sealing
mechanism, during operation.
Diaphragm Action
The ball is mechanically fastened to the spring keeper. Pressure
entering a side opening acts against the keeper O-ring, which lifts
the ball off the seat. Thereby giving a smooth sensitive reaction to
pressure change.

This valve was designed for pumping through one side and out the
other with a built-in relief for emergency. By tying the ball to the
keeper the over pressure simply lifts the whole spring assembly with
a diaphragm action allowing emergency relief out the bottom.

VACUUM RELIEF VALVES
Bayco
Vacuum relief valves are safety devices which relieve vacuum
(instead of pressure) when exceeding setting. Customers must
advise vacuum setting required when ordering - typical setting 1018 inches
of mercury. Constructed with aluminum top, anti-galling alloy
inlets, bronze valve and stainless steel spring.
