In November, Lisa and Kurt Nelson joined us at
Happy Haven as our new house parents and now
live in the “Richmond Chapel – Nevins” house.
They are both natives of Arkansas, attended
Memphis School of Preaching, International
Bible College, and Southern Christian University,
and have worked in ministry in Arkansas and
Missouri. The Nelsons have 3 grown children and
3 grandchildren. We welcome them to Happy
Haven.
We thank Melissa and Rod Lewis, who worked
for the past 2½ years as house parents at Happy
Haven. We wish them well in their new home.

We mourn the passing of Buddy Chaffin who

Abigail has been a part
of Happy Haven’s family
since October 2014.
She enjoys doing crafts
and knitting. It is not
unusual to hear her
singing as she works.
Abigail is eager to attend
worship and sing praises
to our God. She obeyed
God and was baptized
Nov.28, 2015. Of course,
she enjoys being with the
young people at church
and youth activities. We
pray Abigail will always
keep God first in her life.
