This year the Gold Club will commence with an Opening Members Wine Reception to
welcome our new members and get reacquainted with others. This intimate gathering
will take place at the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame and will feature complimentary wine
and hors d’oeuvres from 5:00pm-7:00pm. The evening will also include more information
pertaining to the year’s events.

Once again, the Gold Club will include an exclusive performance by Bruce Guthro’s
Songwriters Circle at Casino Nova Scotia. A private performance in a cabaret setting, this
event will feature complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres on every table in addition to a
pre-event cash bar in the Compass Room. Enjoy an intimate evening as Bruce and his
talented special guests entertain you and your company.
Special guests include Breagh MacKinnon, a 2013 ECMA nominee in the Rising Star
category and Dylan Guthro, another of Canada’s young emerging artists.
This amazing night offers members two seats with a limited number of extra seats
available for purchase.

The 2013 PGA Players Championship will be held once again at the renowned TPC
Sawgrass with the notorious par 3, 17th Island Green. This year, the Gold Club Players
Championship Dinner will be teeing off on Thursday, May 9th, at the Old Ashburn Golf
Club. Besides watching first round coverage, the evening will include special chip off
contest in addition to a superb dinner in the company of great colleagues.

Gold Club members will enjoy another unforgettable day and evening of golf and cuisine
at the award winning Fox Harb’r Golf Resort & Spa in Wallace, Nova Scotia.
The overnight trip will feature a round of golf on the beautiful, renowned golf course
designed by Graham Cooke. Gold Club members will have access all practice facilities,
locker rooms, and club house facilities, as well as the spa.
The day will come to an end with a spectacular wine reception and gourmet buffet dinner,
live entertainment, and a relaxing stay in the luxurious manor style guesthouses.

The annual Hall of Fame Induction Awards Night is a fabulous time to meet and recognize
some of Nova Scotia’s finest athletes. It provides the perfect opportunity to honor the
athletes and builders who have helped shape Nova Scotia’s rich sport heritage.
From 7:00PM to 9:00PM an audience of more than 800 people will hear about the amazing
accomplishments of these 2013 inductees. Each Gold Club member will receive four
tickets for this wonderful event.
Following the ceremonies, there will be a post event reception creating the perfect
opportunity for members to network with the inductees as well as other corporate contacts
in attendance.
Wine and
Cuisine Night
Friday, November 15th, 2013
Another great night for Gold Club members and their guest is set for November with the Wine
and Cuisine Night. This very popular event will start at 7:30PM in the Atlantic Ballroom at the
Westin Nova Scotian.
Bishop’s Cellar will coordinate over 30 exquisite wines for sampling from their suppliers. The
best part is that all featured wines can be purchased at a preferred rate.
A great night to socialize, taste some wine and listen to our band provided elegant music to set
the tone.
The Westin Nova Scotian will host us with hors d’oeuvres and an opportunity to extend your
night with an unbelievable accommodation rate of $79.00 and a 20% discount at Elements
Restaurant.
