Green Box Sports Camp and Surf Camp
The Recreation and Parks Department is proud to bring back
our Green Box Sports Camp and our Surf Camp starting the
week of August 4. Our Recreation Leaders will provide a fun
environment for campers of all ages and abilities through
games, instruction, and encouragement.
Cost is $35 for 1 week and includes a t-shirt.

Greystone Mansion Tour & Original Farmers Market
Shopping
Join us for a docent tour of the Greystone Mansion! The Greystone
Mansion was named for the abundant use of stone and somber
appearance. It has been frequently utilized as a film location. The
Mansion was originally constructed in 1927 at a cost of over $1.2
million. The Greystone Mansion and the entire 18.3 acre site was
dedicated as a public park by the City of Beverly Hills and has since
been officially recognized as a historic landmark and entered into the
Registry of Historic Places. After the tour we will visit the Original
Farmers Market located at 3rd and Fairfax. You will have time on your
own for lunch and shopping. Since this is an historic landmark, it is not
ADA accessible with many stairs inside and out. There is no elevator
available. Fee includes entrance to the Mansion, the docent tour and
bus transportation. Driver’s tip is not included.

Cost is $25 per person.

ESMoA partners with Recreation and Parks Department on
Mural Camp in Recreation Park
August 4-8, 2014
ESMoA is offering FREE arts camps this summer! The City of El Segundo
Recreation and Parks Department is proud to announce the partnership with ESMoA’s Mural
Camp that will be producing a mural on one of the concrete walls at Recreation Park. The
Mural Camp, for incoming 9th and 10th grade students only, will work with renowned street
artist King Cre8 to develop, design, and paint their artwork during the week of August 4th
through 8th.

Campers will learn the fundamentals and basic strategies of each sport though drills
and practice. Campers will be divided into age appropriate groups and all drills will
be tailored to the abilities of the groups. Everyone receives a t-shirt on the first day

Go extreme this summer with our X-Games actions sports camp! Learn the fundamentals of BMX
biking, skateboarding, and scootering at the El Segundo Teen Center Skatepark. Instruction will
focus on the basic skills of each sport and will be tailored to the campers abilities. Part of the day
will be spent watching the pros in videos on the big screen!
