The designer of the Equilibrium jewellery was born in Alert Bay, BC, and produces
contemporary art that reflects the themes and traditions of her First Nations
Kwakiutl and Tlingit heritage. She was also a co-designer of the medals for the

Our bear is named after the Fraser River––
one of the greatest salmon river systems

species of Pacific Salmon return to their
birth rivers by migrating up the Fraser to
spawn and complete their life cycle.

About the Artist—Jode Thompson
Renowned artist Jode Thompson’s passion has always been design and illustration. She works
from her home studio in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies where she is surrounded by
breathtaking mountain scenery, forests, natural wildlife, and crystal blue lakes.
Jode took inspiration to create the Rocky Mountaineer Classic Artwork Collection from vintage
Canadian travel and tourism art posters. Featuring bold colours and simple lines, the designs
lend a classic look to the scenery guests see while onboard Rocky Mountaineer. A truly rare

The Rocky Mountaineer Whistler Sea to Sky Climb offers a unique

Whistler, BC—hosts of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter

Located amidst the spectacular Coast Mountains of British Columbia,
just 120 kilometers (75 miles) north of Vancouver, Whistler is a
