As we pass our first 6 months of opera2ons and prepare for 2014, ASTRAL EXR SYSTEMS (AES) is ready to con2nue on the path we started on and accelerate our pace of innova2on. AES is the coming together of Ola Strandberg, Allan Marcus and Paul De Maio. Three great friends who all share a passion for music, no compromise design and constant innova2on. Together we have set out to establish ourselves as a leading manufacturer of next genera2on, ergonomic and purpose designed guitars and basses for modern musicians. AES is the global distributor of the .strandberg* produc2on instrument series, as well their manufacturing in alliance with the second longest established guitar company in the world... Washburn Guitars USA. For 2014, we are pleased to announce updated specs for the Boden7 & Boden8 series, as well as the addi2on of the Boden6 series. All Boden series guitars now feature flame maple tops and have several op2onal stain finishes available. In addi2on, we are thrilled to announce a new signature series designed in collabora2on with our good friend, Per Nilsson of Scar Symmetry, resul2ng in the first .strandberg* produc2on instrument to feature a non-‐chambered body, a custom pickguard, unique pickup configura2on, 27 frets, op2onal True Temperament, and also an amazing swirl finish done in collabora2on with Livewire Guitars. We’ll be revealing full details on this new signature series at NAMM in January, 2014. We are very proud to announce the launch of a new partnership with True Temperament becoming the first company to offer the True Temperament Freang System in produc2on series guitars in the world. By utilizing flat surfaces rather than a round profile, it
provides a more restful grip for the thumb
Your hand is much stronger when gripping something thick
than when gripping something thin, and the EndurNeck™ uses
this fact in its design. Due to the way that it is designed, it is
experienced as comfortable whether you are used to a thick
or thin neck
Chord playing at the far end of the neck is made easier
Soloing and fret access in general at the near end of the neck
is made easier
The curved rear section and the angles of the surfaces
interact to encourage a more correct playing position and a
straighter wrist
The result is less stress on muscles, joints and tendons, which
lets you play more relaxed, with less fatigue, which results in
less risk of injury and better playing

In order to make the order process as simple and secure as possible, AES will be implementing a web store in the coming months.
now, the order process for all customers and dealers going forward is as follows:

Customer emails us at [email protected] with full name, phone number, billing and shipping address, and specific model along
with any applicable options as detailed in the spec sheets.
From there, we will reply back with an invoice in .pdf format which will confirm all specs/details of the order as well as contain our
payment information. The customer must then sign, scan, and email the invoice back to us.
We require a $1500 USD deposit (+optional stain/pickup fees on Boden series) per instrument for all orders, with the balance being due
when the instrument(s) are ready to ship.
Payments are accepted via bank wire (preferred), cashier’s cheque or PayPal (+3.9%).
Target timelines for deliveries are 120 days or less from date of order. We aim to minimize these timelines as we progress forward.
