A “third stream” chamber trio, bringing together three world travelers, sound explorers, passionate virtuoso improvisers.
Playing spontaneous compositions, adaptations to rarely performed classical repertoire and original compositions, the
three bring their unique musical approaches to this collaborative trio.
Yael Zamir, a classical oboist by training, spent the last decade in Switzerland and Germany, playing in leading
european orchestras. During this time, she discovered her passion for improvisation and middle-eastern music, which
has become her dominant form of expression.
Pianist, improviser and composer Anat Fort has been touring extensively in the U.S., Europe and Israel, following her
second release on ECM Records. Her lyrical style has been described as “Conflating Bach and Bill Evans” (Village Voice).
