The Wave Linear Reagent Magazine (LRM) improves immunohistochemistry (IHC) by standardizing required reagent
chemistries into a complete and convenient package. The self-contained LRM includes all detection reagents,
hematoxylin and wash buffer necessary to perform automated, Rapid IHC™ on the Wave.
Consolidating reagents eliminates the need to dilute, manage and lift heavy containers of bulk fluid.

THE WAVE PRIMARY ANTIBODY CARTRIDGE
The Wave Primary Antibody Cartridge (PAC) is the reservoir for Wave Ready-to-Use and user-fillable
primary antibodies. The PAC fits into the Linear Reagent Magazine (LRM), completing the antibody and
detection system combination to perform automated, Rapid IHC™ on the Wave. The PAC also contains
a Smart Tag for automated reagent management and quality assurance.
T H E WAV E PAC P R O G R A M M E R
The Wave PAC Programmer is used for initial Smart Tag programming of the user-fillable Primary Antibody
Cartridge (PAC) for user-preferred clones. Once the user-fillable PAC is registered with the PAC Programmer,
it performs just like a Wave Ready-to-Use Antibody PAC with no further management necessary.

THE WAVE WICKING CASSETTE
The Wave Wicking Cassette is the Wave System component that eliminates the need for liquid,
uid,
hazardous material disposal. The cassette removes all reagent waste into an absorbent
wicking material. The Wicking Cassette is then disposed of via solid waste management
procedures.
The Wave Wicking Cassette does away with costly, large volume, liquid hazardous waste
disposal and the need to lift, transport and pour hazardous materials. Like all Wave
System consumables, a Smart Tag manages the life of the Wave Wicking Cassette.
