Avoid using excessive force, and treat with care. •Do not over tighten locking screw. •Avoid exposure to all liquids, excessive humidity or temperature. 6 6 •Never use solvents to clean the indicator. Carefully insert the appropriate feeler into the indicator & tighten locking screw. 5 © Allendale Group 2. Align the feeler against the workpiece edge. © Allendale Group 3. Screw in the retaining arm and rest against a fix stop on the machine. 5 © Allendale Group 4. Turn the spindle by hand to check rough alignment to centre. © Allendale Group 5. Start the machine spindle, at as lower RPM as possible. The needle on the dial will start to swing back and forth. Slowly move the Y axis to locate the minimum needle movement. Repeat moving each axis until the needle movement is reduced to the minimum amount.
