OUR COMPANY
Starting with the first company in the eighties; GTC begins targeting civil
engineering and construction. In recent years the group’s operations have been
diversified in a growing number of companies whose current specialty areas are
development,
design,
engineering,
procurement,
construction,
operation,
maintenance and more. Headquartered in the Dominican Republic, GTC has
affiliate offices in Barbados, Catalunya, Deutschland, España, Haití, México,
Nicaragua, Panamá, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks & Caicos, United Kingdom.
In recent years, GTC has maintained the investment to modernize and upgrade its
facilities and equipment, continuously improving the quality of services offered.
GTC is in the process of obtaining certifications ISO 9000 (QA/QC), ISO 14000
(environmental management), OHSAS 18000 (occupational health and safety)
and ISO 26000 (social responsibility).



CARLOS EDMUNDO GIL - MONTERO
Mr. Carlos Gil is an Electromechanical Engineer graduated from the Universidad
Autonoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) in 1973, he also has a Bachelor in Business
Administration from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña (UNPHU) which he
obtained in 1978.
Mr. Gil’s developed expertise started with his function as Project Director, School
Director of Science and Sugar Industry Technology and General Manager of
enterprises in the fields of transportation, pharmaceutical and plastic Equipment.
In 1982 he founded the first company of GTC Intl Group, Ingenieria y
Representaciones Internacionales (Irisa), focussing on civil engineering and the
construction field.
In the present Mr. Gil serves the function of President of GTC Intl Group.

JOSE ERNESTO CAMINERO - PEREZ
Mr. Jose Caminero is a Civil Engineer graduated from the Universidad Autonoma de
Santo Domingo (UASD) with various specializations in Structural Optimization Quality
Construction and Seismic Analysis of Structures.
Mr. Caminero has qualified experience as a Structural Designer, Topographer,
Projects Supervisor, and also in Planning and Implementation of several Projects.
He cofounded with Mr. Carlos Gil the first company of GTC Intl Group, Ingenieria y
Representaciones Internacionales (Irisa) in 1982.
In the present Mr. Caminero serves the function of Vice - President of GTC Intl Group.



EDMUNDO GIL - TAVAREZ
Edmundo GIL-TAVAREZ is a civil engineer with a Post-graduate from Intec in
Dominican Republic and a Master in Sciences (MSc) from Cardiff University in Wales,
UK.
Mr. GIL-TAVAREZ is the Managing Director of Proyectos Especiales (A GTC
International Company) recognized by the FFNE (Funds Francais per La Nature &
L’Environment) in Green Architecture, Engineering and Project Consultancy in the
Caribbean. GTC expertise touches projects in architecture, urban, structural,
environmental and hydraulic design, sanitary, energy, soil and water contamination,
tourism, commercial, industrial, sports, marine, infrastructure, theme parks and IT.
Academically, Mr GIL-TAVAREZ is the Director of the Center of Research of NonConventional Energy, Sciences, Education and Technology (CIENTEC -INTEC) in Intec
University in the Dominican Republic. Main research topics are Renewable (Marine,
Wind, Solar, Biomass, Biofuel), Environment, Green Building and Infrastructures, Energy
Efficiency, Sustainable Development and LEED Certifications. He is an active member
of different international councils like EUOEA, LAWEA, EWEA and the CBBC.

PRISCILLA GIL - TAVAREZ
Priscilla Gil Tavarez is an Architect graduated from the Universidad Nacional Pedro
Henriquez Ureña (UNPHU) in 2003 with a specializations as a Real State Agent from
the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in 2007, has studies of
Interiors Design in Escuela de Arte Altos de Chavón in 2005 and a Technical Degree in
Maintenance and Operation of Water Supply and Wastewater Systems.
Mrs. Gil has developed a vast experience during her career by working as Draftsman,
Insurance Agent, Accounting Assistant, Resident Architect and Architect in Charge.
Currently Mrs. Priscilla Gil serves the function of Director of GTC Intl Group.



RAFAEL FRIAS - SANCHEZ
Rafael R. Frias Sanchez is a Civil Engineer graduated from the Universidad Autonoma
de Santo Domingo (UASD) with specializations in Construction Engineering, Project
Management, Personal Supervision Skills, Cost Analysis and Budget and Structural
Supervision.
Mr. Frias has a qualified experience in performing Structural Works, Supervision and
Design of Streets, Roads and Highways following the ASSHTO code and as a
Superintendent Engineer.
In the present Mr. Rafael Frias serves the function of Director of IRISA Trinidad &
Tobago.

TANYA MORENO - CORONADO
Tanya Moreno Coronado is an Energy Engineer and with a Master in Mechanical
Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM, Cdad. de México).
She also obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer
Science at the Universidad de la Rioja, España, and has various specializations in
Management and Energy Conservation as well as Design of Power Markets.
Mrs. Moreno is an Advisor and Consultant on issues of Energy Efficiency, Renewable
Energy and Sustainable Development for the public and private sector. Professor in
classroom and distance courses in bachelors and specialties Courses form the UNAM
on topics related to Energy, Energy Saving, Standards for Energy Efficiency,
Renewable Energy, Technology and Mechanical Characteristics of the Combined
Cycle, Thermodynamics, Energy and Environment, Processes and Efficient Energy Use.
At this moment Mrs. Tanya Moreno serves the function of Director of GTC Mexico.

JOHN RAMIREZ - MONTAS


GTC
Mr. John Ramirez Montas is an Electromechanical Engineer graduated from the
Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo (UASD),
a Technologist in Industrial
Eletricity and Central Air Conditioning. He has 39 years of experience of work in the
Industrial and Construction sectors working with electrical Designs and general
electrical installations.
He has also been Chief Manager of Electrical Departments and has been
Coordinator and Director of Projects for 10 years, both in the conception of designs
as in the Budget and Installation in the Industrial Electrical area.
At this moment Mr. John Ramirez serves the function of Director of Electroclima.

EUSTAQUIO HERNANDEZ - REYNOSO
Mr. Eustaquio Hernandez Reynoso is a Technologist in Industrial and Mechanical
Engineering and a Civil Engineer, during his 22 years of experience in the Industrial
and Construction sector, he has been working as Draftsman, Designer of Structures,
Tanks and Pipes in major projects.
He has been Chief Manager of Technical Office Departments and Manager of
Production in general Metal Construction. For 10 years he has been Coordinator and
Director of Projects, coordinating the conception of designs, the Budget,
Manufacture and Installation of Structures, Tanks, Piping and Mechanical Assemblies.
At this moment Mr. Eustaquio Hernandez serves the function of Director of Metal
America.



LEGAL STATUS FOR RECRUITMENT
The undersigned as legal representative declared, under oath, that GTC does not fall
into any of the causes that prevent the hiring for any Project, and does not fall into
any of the following situations:
a. Bankruptcy.
b. Being in state of suspension of payments under a court other than a
declaration or bankruptcy and the results in accordance with national
legislation, the total or partial loss of the right to manage or dispose of their
property.
c. To have been subject to legal proceedings instituted against GTC which
involves an order suspending payments and which may result, in accordance
with national legislation, in a declaration of bankruptcy or any other situation
entailing the total loss of part or the right to manage and dispose of their
property.
d. To have been considered in a final ruling, guilty of any crime or offense
concerning their professional conduct.
e. To have been guilty of serious misrepresentation with regard to the information
required to participate in a call
f. To have failed other contract with the Contracting Authority.
