The Friends of Magnolia Mound Plantation in association with BREC’s Magnolia Mound Plantation present the Magnolia Mound’s Black History Month Event A dramatic production researched and presented by Oneal Isaac The Life and Times of P. B. S. Pinchback For 15 days, P. B. S. Pinchback served as the 24th Governor of Louisiana, making him the first Black Governor in the United States. Oneal Isaac, an award-winning actor, storyteller and playwright, has worked in motion pictures, professional and community theatre and radio. He has researched and performed in all of the previous ten productions at Magnolia Mound. and a Musical Presentation by OperaCreole Director and Founder, Givonna Joseph OperaCreole is a New Orleans-based opera company whose members are dedicated to performing music of African-American composers, historical and contemporary, as well as music of Africa, Spain and Haiti.
