Once again it is our pleasure to be able to present to you a great set of economical cattle. I
know these are tough times, but Marywood makes it a priority to offer the best animals to build
up the foundation of your herd and keep your business prosperous. We strive to produce economic, fast growing animals that go from breeding to market in less than 24 months on a
budget. Feed efficiency and saleable meat = economics.
We have changed our management on the bulls this year. You can depend on the fact that we
completely guarantee that your cows will get bred and we will deliver a replacement bull if an
issue arises. For long term sustainability we are taking the bulls off performance rations at the
end of BIO test time so that we have rugged herd sires that are ready to join your herd. We
cull any bulls showing foot problems no matter what the performance numbers. These bulls
will be leaner than previous offerings so that they will last longer at your place producing
strong economical offspring with their hardy breeding.
Another excellent quality of these animals is that they produce not only terrific average pounds
of meat per day of age, but also replacement females with impressive maternal traits.
Take a look at the spring and fall calving females offered by Marywood and Waydamar’s Simmentals. Here we have an excellent offering of replacement females that have both CSA EPDs
and BIO ABCs to help you take the guesswork out of your selection. I know that we are still
producing the best production females available.
We are also glad to offer you a great set of black angus heifers from Thistle Ridge. Red and
black Simmental and commercial cows from Sanmar Simmentals. As well as, Red Angus/
Galloway cows from Randy Dame.

This is a high performing tremendous growth bull with great carcass qualities. Great feet and legs for those

and consign to this annual sale. I feel we have mutual goals
and have invested with Marywood in several herd bulls over
the years. Our herd sires are selected for the desirable easy
calving & soundness and necessary carcass traits to compete
in the beef business today. The commercial side of the business has been our focus producing a select group of BIO
tested bulls for spring sales and femal es for the fall sale.

interest was in the Leachman Asphalt breeding and his amazing EPD numbers. We have used him on heifers as he has

Comments:

Redman’s daughters turn into great momma cows so we bred

The heifers from this year are sired by ‘City Lights Blackbeard 1S’ a ‘YC Freedom’ son. All are vaccinated with Triangle 9 and
treated with Dectomax.
The bred heifers have been pregnancy checked on Oct 29/09 and will start to calve early in the new

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
TERM S: Payment of the sale price shall be made in cash, and animals shall not be released to the buyer
until satisfactory settlement has been made.
BIDS: The Auctioneer shall accept all bids, other than those considered to be irresponsible, and the bidder offering the highest bid shall be the buyer. In case of dispute as to the successful bidder, the animal
shall again be put up for advance bids, and if there be no advance bid the animal shall be sold to the bidder from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid.
Every animal advertised for sale at auction is pledged to absolute and positive sale (unless withdrawn
for just cause prior to being offered for sale.).
By-bidding is prohibited except in the case of a joint ownership when the purpose for the bidding is to re
-apportion the owners’ shares and provided that the intention to so bid and the purpose thereof, is announced prior to all bidding for the animal.
RISK: Animals error noted in the catalogue will be announced from the Auctioneer’s stand. Any announcements from the Auctioneer’s stand will take precedence over any matter in the catalogue.
CERTIFICATES: Each animal offered for sale as registered, must be registered in the Herd Book of the
Association. If any animal is offered for sale as eligible for registration, the seller and the sales manager
are responsible for obtaining the certificates of registry and application therefore must be made before
the animal is sold. If the certificate of registry, together with the certificate of transfer are not provi ded
to the buyer within 120 days following the date of the sale, the buyer is entitled at his option to return
the animal and to a refund of the purchase price. Certificates of registry and transfer shall be provided
by the seller to the buyer and it will be at the buyer’s responsibility and expense to transfer certificate of
registry and to register.
WARRANTIES: The seller warrants clear title to and the right to sell each animal offered for sale. Further, we make no guarantees against hardware or twisted stomachs.
