1. World energy context
Allani Sunlife Holding SA
It’s only a question of :
 10.4 GTEP (Tons Fuel oil equivalent)/year.

the nature diversified by the world
demands in primary energies imposes
detailed research and is responsible for
the adequacy between the types of
resources available
km
 It is also 12 billions of m3 of equivalent in
volume of water.
12 billion de m3/year is also:
Allani Sunlife Holding SA
2 times the flow of the
Rhône in to Lake of Léman
The Lake of Léman contains
71/2 times the annual volume of
fuel consumed in the world!
Volume of Lake Léman: 89 billion of m3.
What are the replacement energies?
Allani Sunlife Holding SA
1.
Renewable enegies with CO2 emissions (biocarburants):
Are there enough arable surfaces available to produce the energy
necessary to cover our actual needs ?
2.
Renewable enegies without CO2 emissions
(solar captors):
Low energy installations, embodied energy fabrication manufacturing
Are there enough resources of hydrocarbons
to build these installations ?
Do we only need ecological electricity to assure a durable
developpment?
3.
Other: nuclear, hydraulic, hydrogen…etc.

We live as if our energy and natural resources were infinite... Solar energy can maintain our
comfort without limits.
Example of a food-processing
or an industrial product
Sector of activity
Energy resource necessary
Environmental problems
1 kg of rosemary essential oil
(distillation of 3 to 9 tons of rosemary
petals)
Aromatic,
luxury perfumes,
hygene products
etc.
1.2 to 3.6 tons of rosemary roots
ripped up from the earth
Activity causing the devastation of many
hectares of unspoiled land in Latin America
and North Africa.
1 m3 of milk UHT
Food
120 to 150 litres of fuel
The potential energy savings are often not
exploited even in industrialised countries.
1 ton of dried chilli (evaporation of 7m3
of water contained in the fresh chilli)
Food
0.11 to 0.15 ton of firewood
Activity causing the deforestation of many
regions in Tunisia.
1 m3 of earthenware bricks
Construction
150 to 170 litres of fuel
Activity based on the use of wood and
vegetable waste in many developing
countries.

We often consume and without knowing it products
representing a high rate of energy volume in
hydrocarbons or vegetable (food, wellness and hygiene)
Example:
Distillation of essential oils
in Latin America:
3-9 tons of petals
+ 1.2 - 3.6 tons of roots
=
1 kg of essential oil

Drying of fresh products in North Africa
To dry 127’000 tons of chillis, you need
electricity for the ventilation and 14’000
tons of firewood (roots, branches, trunks,
etc.) and this generates around 20’000
tons of CO2
The global solar solutions should combine thermodynamics and photovoltaic
2. Domains of application of the solar energy for the future
Allani Sunlife Holding SA
Why the food-processing industry?
 Improvement of the eco-balance (especially with regards to technology transfer
towards countries with a weak global energy efficiency also with regard to the
CO2).
 Minimization of additional costs inferred by the use of the solar energy.
 Mixed use of heat and electricity.
 Possibility of developing an economic and environmental dynamics.

Solar and Eco-tourism:
•
Allani Sunlife Holding SA
Eco-tourism and instructive stays regarding solar energy
Sunlife offers you eco-touristic didactic spaces where, simultaneously
you can learn and have fun in the solar domain ...from the desert
to the Alps, discover parks where you will familiarise yourself with
solar energy day and night.
•
Wellness/mode of life
With Sunlife you will perceive solar as a way of life that predisposes
you to make harmonious and ecological choices to suit your daily
requirements, always in the spirit of lasting development.
Heating and transport are not the only source of CO2 emission
that you are responsible for.
•
Solar restaurants
A healthy life starts with a balanced diet… imagine that the sun brings
to you, on a constant basis, the energy needed for your cooking without
compromising your comfort ...discover the proven solutions with
Sunlife and partners.
Eco-Industry and Solar Agro-Industry
Allani Sunlife Holding SA
•
Solar food-processing industry
Solar energy can take the place of oil necessary for the conversion of
plants into food products. It is also capable to make the production of
plants more viable and natural, thanks to ecological solutions - water
energy ...Sunlife and partners processes bare witness to this.
•
Solar equipment for agriculture, fishing and industry
Sunlife imagines and builds innovative agricultural exploitation and food
processing factories of the future, where solar installations replace the
exhaustible contribution of hydrocarbon, therefore guaranteeing an agroindustrial production labelled zero CO2.
•
Build with the sun
The low energy consumption in buildings is not only linked to thermal
insulation, solar heating and lighting low in energy consumption, but
mainly due to the possibility, to involve from the start, building products
made with solar energy ...Sunlife guides you towards the solutions.
Energy and Solar Technologies
•
Allani Sunlife Holding SA
Personalised study and construction of solar installations
Solar energy represents a profession of the future requiring the
development of new conceptual approaches as well as design and
construction ...Sunlife offers the possibility of realising your projects
whilst deploying profiles and highly qualified, multi-disciplinary human
resources.
•
Study and construction of solar power-stations
Sunlife accumulates a large experience in the domain of construction of
industrial solar power stations with the support of innovative and efficient
technologies… it will guide you towards a sound choice for the assembly
of your projects “equipment - partners - market - financing”.
•
R & D and advanced solar energy engineering
It makes more sense to innovate within the research for technical solar
solutions, when one explores their application within the domains close
to our daily needs… with grounds for development ... Sunlife takes you to a
new world of applied R&D.

Assets of the concept:
c
•Autonomy of the supply of water energy
Water (drop by drop and recovery of rain water
….system ...etc.)
Energy (flexible photovoltaic panel)
•Energy independence and contribution towards
…economising water
•High efficiency of use
•Diversity and versatility of usage (electricity for
..pumping, lighting, electronic control, ventilation ...etc.)
•Diversity of seasonal usage (drying, vegetable
…production ...etc.)
Context: Often, agricultural farms are not connected to the mains electricity network and
connections are expensive.
Agricultural activities are of a seasonal nature, where there is often the necessity or the
requirement to exploit energy resources to a maximum. Existing infrastructures for example, the
greenhouse, could be converted in the summer as a drying facility.
In the colder months, water from the surface of the greenhouse can be recycled to assist the
growth of fruits and vegetables.
•Diversity of utilisation day and night
•Architecturally designed to blend in with the
…environment, easy to implement (flexible photovoltaic
…panels for the much used "tunnel style”.)
