Summer camp time is
coming soon. Few
things get me excited
like summer camp.
This year is extra
special because, for
the first time, we are
offering two weeks of
summer camp. The
camps will be held at
Michiana Christian
Service Camp in
Niles, the last two
weeks of August.
Something very special happens when
we get away from
our everyday routine,
and get away to a
place where we don’t
have to worry about
life’s problems, but
just focus on who
God is and His purpose for us. Lives are
changed at camp. I
want everyone to
have the opportunity
to experience the
way God works
through Luvability
Summer Camp. Because of the great response we have had
in the past there was
no way we would
have room for everyone without doing
two weeks of camp
this year.
This year’s camp
theme is “Here I Am
To Worship” and that
is just what we are
going to do. We are
going to learn the
power of God’s love
through Worship.
We are going to learn
that there are many
ways to worship, and
that God loves it
when we give Him
praise. We will have
special guests each
day that will show us
how God has blessed
them through worship.
Camp is a very special time, I hope that
you will join us, as
together we experience God through
worship. I encourage
you to get involved,
volunteer if you can,
pray for staff and our
friends that come together, that God will
use this time to
change our lives.
Having two weeks of
summer camp has
also doubled our expenses, if you can
give, please give.
When you see the excitement and smiles
of the faces of every
person at camp, and
you realize the impact that this has on
their lives, it’s not
hard to realize that it
is an investment that
has an amazing return.
If you would like to
be a part of this
amazing experience,
by volunteering, or
committing to
prayer, or giving financially, please contact me. Most of all,
know that you do
make a difference,
every one of you who
help, every smile you
give, every prayer,
every dollar matters.
We thank you, and
encourage you to
come and see what
God is doing at Luvability Ministries
because you give.
Thank you,
Pastor Jared
Meet the new Board Members...
Kevin L. Railing
Born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, I am a graduate of Washington High School and Indiana UniversitySouth Bend. I completed a Juris Doctor at Thomas M.
Cooley Law School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have
worked in the legal field for approximately nine years
as a paralegal and attorney. Currently, I am an independent contractor, covering hearings throughout the
State of Indiana.
I have been married to my wife, Wendy, for eleven
years, and we have a six year old son, Devin. My son
has special needs, so we had to research and utilize
local organizations to assist with the care of my son.
My family is Christian, and we attend a church with a
focus on humility and giving back to the community,
and these are some of the reasons why I was attracted
to Luvability. I am glad to be part of a great organization that serves others in our community.

Shortly after I was saved a group of people came to
our church looking for volunteers to help at a day
camp. I was hooked! I finally found something I was
good at! I loved helping people!
From there I was referred to a family who needed a
full time live-in attendant for their 25-year old quadriplegic son, which I did for 24 hours a day for 28 days at
a time. I did that for 18 months. After that, I went to
Ancilla College and received my QMA, attended Ivy
Tech for nursing, and have since then been an LPN. I
met Lind Van Dyke in 2002 and immediately felt the
Holy Spirit’s presence and have fallen in love with the
clients and staff, and have attended several of the
summer and winter camps. I am deeply honored to be
asked to serve on the Luvability board.
