Katie Machol, Creative Loafing, Green Community Editor Katie Machol didn’t exactly start out “green”- she graduated from culinary school in Fall 2008 and wanted to pursue a career in food writing and styling, thus ending up at Creative Loafing as a food contributor. She became the editor of CL's Green Community section in April 2009. She has always been into healthy eating/lifestyles and is interested in the organic, sustainable, and locallygrown food movements, as well as the many new green ideas and practices that putting the Green site together has opened her eyes to. Stephanie Hayes, St. Petersburg Times, Deal Diva Stephanie Hayes is a reporter for tbt* and the St. Petersburg Times, covering pop culture, fashion, trends, nightlife, that weird guy on your street — and how they all intersect to shape our lives. She also blogs about fashion for the Times' style blog, Deal Divas. She started writing for the Times in 2003, covering everything from suburban politics to zoning to snack foods to Britney Spears. She wrote the Times' feature obituary column, Epilogue, before becoming a general assignment news and feature reporter.
