Who hasn’t experienced muscle pain? Most people
have experienced acute musculoskeletal pain, often
on a regular basis. Pain is like a red light — it is a
warning sign meant to protect us from further harm.
The musculoskeletal system can be divided into passive elements such as bones, joints and ligaments,
and active elements, namely skeletal muscles. There
are as many types of pain as there are parts of this
system.

When he founded the Hevert company together
with his wife Dorothea in the 1950s, Emil Hevert laid
the foundation for the company on Emanuel Felke’s
work. Hevert was founded in the German town of
Bad Sobernheim, where the naturopath Felke practiced for many years, and which later became the
headquarters for the Felke Association. Emil Hevert
was also involved in the founding of this association.
Musculoskeletal pain can
be caused by work (hard
physical labor or even working at a computer while sitting improperly), overdoing
sports, not getting enough
exercise or wear-and-tear.
If left untreated, acute pain
can turn into chronic pain,
which is even more difficult
to treat.
Painful blunt injuries such as muscle strain and
contusions are very common sports and everyday
injuries. Muscle strain occurs when muscles are overextended. Joint or muscle contusions are caused by
a blow or impact, for example by running into an
obstacle. The resulting crushing of tissue leads to
swelling and bruising. Bruising due to crushing can
also occur after dental surgery.
Arnica montana, radix 4X is wellknown in homeopathy as ‘first aid’ for
blunt injuries. The remedy is especially
helpful for swelling and bruising due
to injuries and overexertion, where it
supports and accelerates the healing
process. Arnica montana, radix 4X is
also used for stiffness and pain in the
musculoskeletal system.
Arnica montana
Rhus toxicodendron 6X helps with strained muscles
and tendons, sprains, and pulled muscles. It supplements the healing action of Arnica in sports and everyday injuries. It relieves exhaustion, fatigue and pain after intense physical activity.
To this day, Bad Sobernheim, with its thriving spa
resorts, is the center for the Felke Therapy which
uses the well-known natural remedies of light, air,
water, clay and a natural food diet in addition to
homeopathy. A large number of the Hevert homeopathic formulas were created in cooperation with
students of the famous Emanuel Felke
