I'm the very lucky woman, whose husband
bought the winning ticket for the lovely pearls that
you donated to the Karuna Christmas Markets.
When I first got the phone call to say that we had
won the pearls, I decided that we would offer them to my stepdaughter who is
getting married in May for her to wear on her wedding day.
However, when I saw the pearls for the first time, I realised that there is no
way that I would part with them! 'LOL' I absolutely adore them! I'm a 'purples /
blue / teals' kind of girl so they match in with the outfits I usually wear. I wore the
necklace today and the feel of the pearls was gorgeous. So thank you so much
as these will give me so much pleasure in the years to come.

andaPearls absolutely loved attending the
CRANAplus Conference in Cairns. A highlight was
meeting Justice Michael Kirby (retired) and listening
to his eloquent welcome address.
Further highlights included 'Disco Donna' on the dance
floor of the Sebel Cairns with Mark from Air Ambulance
NSW. We hope he’s now out of plaster!
'Camilla Kaftan Deb' doing the Gangman Style dance with all the rural
and remote nurses from the Kimberley to remotest Cape York! Followed
perhaps by just hearing the stories of Roberta and Marj who have spent
years, quite often on their own administering health aid to people in the
remotest of outback Australia!
Thank you CRANAplus it was a pleasure to attend. We will forever be
humbled by your invitation and congratulations on your ‘pearl’ anniversary
honouring 30 years of rural and remote nursing in the Australian outback.
We will remember it as the best conference PandaPearls have attended,
where we met some unforgettable, unique and beautiful people!

I want to take my hat off to
you and thank you for your efforts in
staging another much loved Community
Based Market Day. It is a very big effort
to use your own store and surrounds
and supplies in staging a day such as
yesterday Ovarian Cancer Research is
such a worthy cause and the funds raised
will go a long way in helping them find a
cure, I'm quite sure.
You have been my 'partner in crime
and crazy activities' for so many years now. I sincerely thank you, for
being you, my friend, my business partner and part of our family. Your
generosity overwhelms me at times and is much appreciated by all
who know you. Every success for all of your endeavours in 2013,
I know you will go places.
