Installation by Steffi Alte (paintings), Francois Dessambre (lights) and Noële Ody (objects) at Zeigeraum
Dario Wowurka uses his flat temporarily as exhibition space. He empties his main living room for one
week to set up an exhibition. After the opening he moves in again. Exhibition space and living room get
mixed up. For one week it is possible to visit the exhibition by appointment.
By changing the complete setup into a typical gallery situation (no windows, neon light, walls covered
with paintings, removed skirting board) and without taking the place of the furniture, the room was yet
filled.

slideprojector, slides, newspaper, neon lamps, lightsensor, relays
photos: Saprophyt
No material of former exhibitions is taken out of the Saprophyt as well as exhibtions do not get build
down by its artists. There was no light installed on the ceiling of the space yet.
For Projects and Assignments the curator Andrew Berardini chose six artists to write an assignment
and Barbara Kapusta and Stephan Lugbauer chose seven artists to realize projects on that.
Natascha Sadr Haghighian wrote the assignment for this project.

a slideprojector
a rocking chair
a newspaper
I installed over fifty neon lamps on the ceiling. A slideprojector changing every minute between the
picture of a rocking chair and no slide (which means there is no projection) switches at the same time
on and off the neon lamps. So there is for one minute the picture of a rocking chair in a very light
room and for one minute almost darkness. The former exhibition by Jakob Lena Knebel I left nearly
untouched besides I unplugged the lamps that were used before.

Five Minutes.
2010
coated particle board, shelf, expander
Both, question and answer, are songtitles.
What Time Is Love? is by the KLF, who also founded the
K Foundation. In 1994 the K Foundation awarded the K Foundation
Art Award to the Turnerprize winner as „worst artist of the year“
with the doubled prize money.
Five Minutes is e.g. a lovesong by Lorrie Morgan.
Hotel
2010
steel, paint, PVC, corrugated polyester board
The Hotel was built for the Summerstage Sculpture Garden which takes place on big black pedestel along the
Danube Canal. With a diameter of 2 m and a height of 2,2 m the Hotel is big enough for people to stand or even lie.
The PVC walls are turnable on two levels so that window and/or potential entrance can be changed.
