We are thrilled to have Robin Preiss Glasser, illustrator of the Fancy Nancy book series and former professional ballerina at
Meydenbauer Theatre. Robin will be in the lobby during intermission at all of the Bellevue shows to autograph books and take a picture
with your little Fancy Nancies!
Please save the date on Saturday, April 28th for our 4th Annual Dinner Gala and Auction at Emerald Downs. This year’s theme is
1920’s Speakeasy. Enjoy an evening with 20s-era entertainment, great food, wine and wonderful items to bid on. All proceeds benefit
our Financial Aid and Dance ALIVE! outreach programs.
Dance ALIVE! has served over 10,000 underprivileged children in our public schools, at no cost to them or their schools. Dance ALIVE!
gives children, who would otherwise never have the opportunity, to learn about this art form. If you would like to help us continue to
bring this program to the youth in our community, please visit our information table in the lobby. You may also “Adopt-a-School” of your
choice for $500.00.
Wondering what to do with your kids this summer? Our Summer Dance Camp is a great choice! With different themes each week, your
child can dress up like Cinderella or Fancy Nancy and dance, craft and have fun. We provide a healthy snack, all activities and even
early drop-off options!
Evergreen City Ballet also offers top caliber, affordable, dance instruction for children and adults of all ages and skill level. Please take

THE SLEEPING BEAUTY FAIRIES

To introduce children to a more mature style of dance, The Sleeping Beauty Fairy variations have been chosen
to educate children through music, costume and dance. These variations take place during Princess Aurora’s
christening and each fairy bestows a gift to the royal child. Each variation shows different qualities and
temperament that are passed on to the baby princess.

grandparents' fiftieth anniversary party is the same day, she is furious. (Mad is way too plain for how she feels.)
