Have you ever caught too many perfect waves?
Letting waves go that would have been the
best wave of anyone’s life.
They must have caught 50 barrels that day!
The barrels we so wide and such a
guaranteed thing, that it almost got....
The barrels we so wide and such a guaranteed
thing, that it almost got.... BORING!
Most of our dreams are better as
dreams than as realities; if we
ever actually got them we would
find ourselves, not elated, but
disappointed and ultimately
empty....
...unless our dreams are God’s
dreams.
Creatures are not born with desires
unless satisfaction for those desires
exists. A baby feels hunger: well,
there is such a thing as food. A
duckling wants to swim: well, there
is such a thing as water. Men feel
sexual desire: well, there is such a
thing as sex.
“Hiding in plain sight in the June 2001 issue
of Philadelphia Magazine is Ben Wallace’s essay
‘The Prodigy and the Playmate’. In it Sandy
Bentely, the Playboy cover girl and former Hefner
girlfriend (along with her twin sister Mandy),
describes Hefner’s current sexual practices in
just enough detail to give you a good long pause:
‘The heterosexual icon [Hefner]... had trouble
finding satisfaction through intercourse;
instead...he masturbated and watched gay
porn.’”
The August 2003 issue of Christianity Today ran an article on
Playboy Magazine’s founder and publisher titled “Hugh
Hefner’s Hollow Victory”
“I may I suppose regard myself as a relatively
successful man. People occasionally stare at me in the
streets, that’s fame. I can fairly easily earn enough
money to qualify for admission to the higher slopes of
the Internal Revenue Service, that’s success.
Furnished with money and a little fame, even the
elderly, if they care to, may partake of friendly
diversions, thats pleasure. It might happen once in
awhile that something I said or wrote was sufficiently
heeded for me to...
Well known British writer and media personality, Malcolm

smoking, womanizing, and legendary pleasure-seeking. He also
turned from his rather vocal and public agnosticism. He told the
story in his 1972 book Jesus Rediscovered.
persuade myself that it represented a serious impact
on our time, thats fulfillment. Yet I say to you, and I
beg you to believe me, multiply the tiny triumphs by
millions, add them all up together and they are
nothing, less than nothing, indeed a positive
impediment, measured against one drop of that
living water Christ offers to the Spiritually thirsty
irrespective of who or what they are.

The first lie ever told!
1 Now the serpent was more crafty than
any other beast of the field that the LORD
God had made. He said to the woman,
"Did God actually say, 'You shall not eat of
any tree in the garden'?"
4 But the serpent said to the woman, "You
will not surely die.
5 For God knows that when you eat of it
your eyes will be opened, and you will be
like God, knowing good and evil.
-Genesis 3:1,4,5 (ESV)
God does not require us to give up
anything that it is for our best interest
to retain. In all that He does, He has
the well-being of His children in view.
Would that all who have not chosen
Christ might realize that He has
something vastly better to offer them
than they are seeking for themselves.

“Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will
give you the desires of your heart.”

...and the desire of all nations shall come:
-Haggai 2:7
Let God
Be your dreams.
