21 YEAR OLD AMERICAN FORMULA
RESERVE DRIVER FOR CATERHAM F1 TEAM
Champion and becoming the youngest open wheel
racing champion in United States History. By 2008
Rossi had become Formula BMW World Champion
holding the most series poles (10) and victories (14).
This earned him the coveted test with BMW Sauber
F1 Team and made history again becoming the
youngest driver at 18 years and 2 months to hold a
Formula One Super License.
Alexander, an elite athlete and very accomplished race
car driver is currently the only American in Formula 1
and to hold an F1 Super License. His resume coupled
with his dedication is slated now to step up to full time
F1 race seat in 2014 with Caterham F1 Team. He is been
highly marked by the motorsport industry as the next
successful American in F1, since Mario Andretti in 1978.
Rossi has won at every level since his racing career
began in karts at age 10. By 2006 at age 14, he’d
become a multiple National and International Karting
Alexander Rossi is well traveled, while being versed
in the business of motorsport is an established
ambassador for motorsport and sponsors. America
after decades of embracing Formula 1 on and off, is
now fully committed to two world class Formula 1
venues. Circuit of the Americas, as world class Tilke
designed circuit in Austin, Texas hosted the most
successful F1 race on the calendar in the inagural
return of F1 in America last November 2012. For
2013 the Austin venue will host F1 once again for the
compulsary round of the championship in November,
with a new venue being added to 2014 scheduled, the
New Jersey streets scheduled for June, father’s day
weekend. With the multi year contract existing for the
Canada Grand Prix, Montreal (the weekend before New
Jersey and another North American ideal venue) the
timing and alignment could not be better commercially
for the world’s second largest sport embracing fans and
corporate America.
