Repêchage celebrated its 30th anniversary with 200 spa professionals in August at New York’s Tribeca Rooftop, where
Lydia Sarfati, the company’s founder and CEO, tearfully recited The Meaning of Success, a poem by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
The night kicked off with memories from Sarfati’s friends—
dubbed “The Big Chill Sisters”—and a slideshow of photos
from the company throughout the years, followed by the
announcement of the annual Repêchage Spa de Beauté of
the Year Award winners. These included Day Spa of the
Year—Lemongrass Spa, Valdosta, GA; Skin Care Spa of the
Year—Oasis Day Spa, Weymouth, MA; and Destination Spa
of the Year—Melange World Spa, Neuvo Vallarta, Mexico.
