Proceeds from Families on the Green benefit the Discovery Green
Conservancy, which receives no public funding to host more than 600
FREE annual events for the Houston community. Since opening in
2008, Discovery Green has been recognized as one of America’s finest
urban parks, has welcomed more than 6.5 million visitors and has
helped spur more than $625 million of park-centered development in
downtown Houston. The support of and involvement of friends such
as you is critical to the park’s continued success.
