An elegant floor lamp as a symbiosis of traditional Chinese craftsmanship and modern
style - with MODLIN, lasfera has created a timelessly beautiful lamp. The base and the
lampshade are made by hand from bent bamboo poles that are shaped from a bamboo
splint , thus the base of the floor lamp is connected with the lamp as a unit. The surfaces
of the bamboo poles are oiled and thus free of chemical treatments.

Miss SOPHIE our sympathetic veneer lighting collection. Classic shape, traditional craftsmanship and innovative
use of materials: SOPHIE is a shining example of lasfera’s holistic approach of product design. The shade and
foot are formed from natural flexible veneer plywood. The special feature: The plywood is made of three layers,
two outer layers from different natural woods - that have been stripped using traditional methods - and an inner
fleece layer. The fleece layer ensures that the veneer layers are flexible and do not tear or break while bending.
For the veneer layers there is a selection of natural woods such as maple, oak or walnut to choose from, which
can be combined according to the customer’s preference in different color variations - that each lamp is an

With our new SLIDE collection of lamps, we
have reaffirmed our loyalty to the principle of
developing customisable lighting objects with
the highest possible degree of function and
quality. The shade is based on a mechanism
developed in house, and a simple bending
action is all it takes to adjust the height. In this
way, the shade can be set to the right height
with one single hand movement.

YUN - floating lamp
The table and floor lamp YUN adopts a classic lamp
shape with the delicate legs providing an extraordinary lightness. The base of YUN consists of only
three curved wooden legs carrying the round fabriccovered lampshade. As the wood will deform slightly
in differnt climates.
lasfera developed an unique lampfixture to keep the
shade always balanced. The organic change of the
natural material was taken up in the design - a supposed shortcoming became the core idea
