Passport & Visas
Each U.S. citizen must have a
valid passport. Expiry date of
passports should be at least 6
months after the return date
of tour. If you don’t have a passport, call
our office and we’ll tell you how to apply
for one. Some countries require visas for
entry by U.S. citizens. We will send visa
applications and instructions if a visa is
required for your tour. Holders of nonU.S. passports should contact their nearest consulate and inquire about the necessary passport or visa documentation
required for entry into the countries visited. NOTE: Due to airline security measures, your passport name must match
your airline ticket name and your tour
reservation name or you may be denied
aircraft boarding.

Travelers Protection Plan (TPP)
This nonrefundable fee waives all cancellation fees when we are notified of
cancellation one day before the tour departs. If you must leave the tour
early due to personal illness, illness or death of a member of your immediate family, TPP guarantees full refund for any unused services after the
departure of the tour. Other benefits include medical expenses for illness
and injury, emergency transportation, 24 hour hot line, and lost or stolen
baggage assistance. Return air transportation is included ONLY if your air
tickets were provided by Mayflower Tours. If you purchase the optional
Travelers Protection Plan (TPP), you will be refunded all payments, including
deposit amount, less the TPP premium amount.

scenery awaits in and around every city as you
discover all this region has to offer. From the
extensive coastline of the Costa del Sol (Coast
of the Sun) to the rich architectural heritage of
Granada, you’re sure to experience the hospitality and variety of culture that makes Spain one
of the three most visited countries in the world.
Málaga - Capital of the Costa del Sol, Málaga, is
one of the oldest cities in the world and is located in southern Spain on the northern side of the
Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy spectacular views of
the coastline and Torremolinos – your home for
the next seven nights. During the city tour, you
will get an overview of life in this bustling
coastal city, which is also known as the birthplace of Pablo Picasso. See the Cathedral and
stroll through the historic quarter which dates
back nearly 800 years.
Ronda - Explore the mountainous region of
Ronda on an included day trip from the Costa
del Sol. This picturesque town is perched high
atop El Tajo canyon, a plunging river gorge
which was carved out by the Guadalevín River

Plaza de Toros, Ronda
that runs through Ronda. Some highlights of
this lovely town include the three bridges
(Puente Romano, Puente Viejo and Puente
Nuevo) that span the canyon, the Church of the
Holy Spirit and the Plaza de España – town
square. Ronda is famous as the birthplace of
modern bullfighting and is home to the oldest
bullring in Spain, Plaza de Toros. Currently a
museum, this bullring has previously staged
some of the most important events in bullfighting history.
Seville - Visit Seville on an optional excursion.
The fourth largest city in Spain, Seville is built
on the banks of the Guadalquivir River and has
a rich Arab history. Once a prosperous trading
port with the Americas, it was here where
Columbus docked on returning from America.
On the panoramic tour of this charming city you
will see the gardens at Maria Luisa Park and walk
through the colorful district of Santa Cruz. Stroll
through the winding narrow alleyways where
there are courtyards with tiled fountains, wrought
iron gates and pots overflowing with fresh flowers. In the heart of historic Seville, see the massive cathedral, built in the 15th century. The
striking minaret is the slenderest tower in Muslim
architecture. Before returning to Torremolinos,
you’ll also visit the Alcazar, an Arabic Palace completed by Peter I, recognized for its Mudejar style.
Tangier - Join an optional tour to Tangier, Africa.
A ferry ride across the Strait of Gibraltar takes you
to Morocco and the ancient city of Tangier. Tour
the modern half of the city along with Cape Spartel,
the northwestern-most point of the African continent. Stroll through the meandering streets and
colorful markets as you explore the old town
(Casbah) on foot. Lunch is included on the tour to
allow you to experience local Moroccan cuisine.
Granada - Granada is well known for its art, university and vibrant night life. It is also home to
one of the most visited monuments in Spain – The
Alhambra, a Moorish citadel and palace, which
was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in
1984. During your included day trip to Granada,
enjoy an orientation tour of the city and an excursion to The Alhambra where you will tour the
grounds and famous gardens of this magnificent
architectural treasure.
