A Celebration of Painting a celebration of painting Moving with the times... After years of separating old and new, our move into Dickens House finally gives us the room to offer all periods of art under one roof - at last a 'one-stop gallery'! In grasping the opportunity to make our new home in Dickens House I know that we are set to build on the kind of reputation which only a family run business can achieve. The wonderful new exhibition spaces ideally complement the paintings, and the mixture reflects current tastes. Collectors do not necessarily go for Victorian, Modern British, Contemporary, or whatever, but use their taste and judgement to achieve a mixture which reflects their lifestyle and environment. In putting together this catalogue, offering specially commissioned contemporary work and wonderful examples of older paintings, we hope to inspire and instruct, tease and tempt. Enjoy! JOHN NOOTT Paintings are for sale on receipt of this catalogue.
