professional touring performances, as well as shows by our resident groups: Hartford City
Band, Hartford Community Chorus, The Hartford Players, and the Ketle Moraine Fine
Arts Guild. In addition, we ofer arts classes for all ages through our Community School
of the Arts and host a variety of social and business functions throughout our facility.

at small-town prices, the Schauer Center’s
Mainstage Series showcases
professional touring productions.
All Mainstage events take place in the Ruth A. Knoll Theater
and have two tiers of seating prices: PRIME and SIDE.
For most events, SIDE seats receive a $4 discount of
PRIME seating prices. Be aware that SIDE seating is at a
90˚ angle to the stage and may have slight viewing obstructions.
Most Mainstage performances are 2 hours, including a
20 minute intermission with cash bar.

Each family- friendly performance is approximately
60 to 90 minutes and ofers the opportunity to meet
the cast in full costume ater the show.
While these events are geared towards younger audiences,
the Schauer Center does have the following policies:
• Everyone — regardless of age— must have a ticket.
Babes in arms will not be admited.
• Children under age 6 are not allowed in the balcony.
• Youth ages 16 and under should be accompanied by an adult.
• One adult is recommended for every three students seated in the balcony.
• Lap Seats! For our Family Series you can purchase lap seating
for children ages 3 and younger.

For Cabaret events, cash bar opens one hour prior to show time and is available for
the duration of the event.
SEATING
For Schauer Center Mainstage and Family series performances, the Ruth A. Knoll
Theater opens for seating 30 minutes before curtain. Latecomers will be seated
at a suitable interval in the program, as designated by the artist.
For Tikes in Pikes events, seating in Pikes Peak will be available
30 minutes prior to show time.
For the Cabaret Series in Pikes Peak, cash bar and seating are available
one hour prior to show time.
TICKET DONATIONS
Tickets for ‘Schauer Center Presents’ events may be donated back to the Box Ofice
for resale. Tickets that are returned at least 48 hours in advance are considered
tax-deductible donations. A receipt of your donation can be provided upon request.
All tickets are non-refundable.
WEATHER-RELATED CANCELLATIONS
Schauer Center events are only cancelled if performers cannot make it due to
weather. No refunds will be issued to audience members who cannot
attend a scheduled performance.
