in this booklet as it will save time and
help you understand your options
when it comes to having your senior
portraits created at Dennis Kelly.
During your planning session we will be
finding out a little about you and helping
you to decide which photoshoot options
you would like to incorporate as part of
your senior portrait experience.
So that you have some idea of the kinds of
things available to you at Dennis Kelly
Photography, we have described some of
the more popular looks and styles that
many seniors typically choose. You may
choose to do as many as you like. You may
also have something else in mind ! Tell us
about it.!
Your senior session should be about
capturing the unique aspects of your own
style and personality, so think of these as a
starting point. All of this will be discussed and
finalized at your planning appointment.
We are great photographers, but not so great
mind readers. If you have a question or concern,
please ask us! Our goal is to delight you in every
way possible!

Your Senior Pictures
Are a Big Deal!
Your senior portraits are a milestone event! They mark
the transition from childhood to adulthood. Did you
know that for most people, their senior pictures are
the LAST professional portraits they will have taken until they get
married? It’s true! Naturally, you want them to be perfect. So Do We!
This booklet will explain your options for your Senior Portrait Photoshoot at Dennis Kelly Photography, and
what you need to do to schedule your time to shine! Remember, these pictures will be in your family forever,
so we understand that you want them to be the best they can be.
YES, we can shoot your yearbook photo, but Dennis Kelly’s senior portraits are SO much MORE. Our Senior
Photoshoots are like a magazine shoot with a world class photographer, because that’s what Dennis is… a
highly skilled, award winning Master Craftsman Photographer with the ability to make you feel, and look,
absolutely amazing.
We also know that you and your parents want the very best value you can get for your money. We have all the
latest styles, sets, backgrounds, ideas, equipment, and most importantly, creativity! That is why so many other
studios try to copy what we do. We are the trend setter studio that all the other studios want to be like.
The first thing is learning about your options for your senior portrait
session and deciding what you really like.

Every senior is a unique individual, with different personalities, different interests… why should every Senior
Photoshoot be the same? We offer a multitude of looks, styles, and locations so you can decide how YOU want
to be remembered. From traditional to fun, to completely wild, Dennis can do it all. No studio offers the variety
of looks and styles that we have available. Your Senior Photoshoot will be tailored to you, and won’t look
exactly like everyone else’s!
Remember, right now you are not deciding on a package of pictures, (you don’t need to decide on that until
AFTER you actually see your pictures) you are simply deciding what KINDS of pictures you want to have taken!
Each shoot is of one outfit or “look”, but you may choose more than one shoot in order to do a variety of
outfits. Maybe jeans and a casual top, and then your prom dress of even something quirky and fun. This is
where you get to show off who you are!
Here are some different styles of shoots you can choose from.
Yearbook
Yearbook poses are the very
traditional head and shoulders
portraits that most schools
require for inclusion in the
school yearbook senior section.
Most area schools require girls
to be photographed in black
drape, and boys in tuxedo
jacket. We have both drapes
and tuxes available here at the
studio in every size. No worries.
Most seniors start with this
shoot as the “basis” of their
Senior Photoshoot package.
You don’t have to, but most do.
Indoor
Dressy or casual outfits
shot in our extensive
indoor camera room are a
great way to show your
own individual style and
personality. We have over
1200 square feet of indoor
shooting areas, and more
backgrounds, sets and
props than you can count.
Dennis will custom design
a look and style to match
your outfit and your
personality and will make
your Senior Photoshoot
yours alone.
Outdoor
In addition to our large indoor
shooting area, we have a full acre
of outdoor shooting areas at our
studio designed just for
photography. We have a number
of different areas and outdoor sets
for a variety of different looks,
and they are all just seconds away
from our air conditioned camera
room!
For an additional fee, we can also
go on location anywhere you’d
like. The beach, a local park, your
home. If you have a favorite spot
that has meaning to you… let us
know and we will go there!
My Passion
If you play a sport, a musical
instrument, ride a horse, have a
motorcycle, dance… if there is
ANYTHING in your life that you
are passionate about, make it a
part of your Senior Photoshoot.
We can create awesome,
stunning, and totally cool images
of you and your “passion” in our
studio, or we can go on location
to wherever you do your thing to
capture you being YOU.
Cap and Gown
For the very traditional senior, a cap
and gown portrait is a great addition
to your Senior Photoshoot if your
family wants to see you all decked
out in your academic regalia. Our
caps and gowns are very high quality
made specifically for photography.
They photograph beautifully, unlike
the cheaper garments that most
other studios use.
Think about who you will actually give
them to. Many of our clients have them
done and then don’t end up ordering
any of them because they like all the
other styles so much more. Make sure
you will actually have a use for them!
Formal
We often get comments that our
pictures look like they were
taken from a page in a magazine.
That’s because Dennis’ influence
and style comes from fashion
photography, not from a school
picture photographer shooting in
the gym!
Show off your favorite prom
dress or dressy outfit. “Formal”
also doesn’t have to mean posed
and stuffy. You can do your prom
dress with bare feet and loose
hair outdoors in one of our
garden settings. Think Creatively!
Ringlight
Looking for images with IMPACT?
Our exclusive Ringlight shoot
might be just what you are
looking for. Ringlights made their
mark in the beauty and fashion
photography industry. You’ve
seen this look in ads for
everything from designer clothes,
perfume, makeup and jewelry.
Characterized by a distinctive
circular “catchlight” in the eyes,
and an almost shadowless light
quality, Ringlight images are sure
to get noticed!
Beach
Portraits at the beach are always popular. We
work at the beach in Ocean City on selected
evenings throughout the summer. Beach
portraits need to be scheduled close to
sunset, so that we can work with the most
perfect lighting conditions. If “Summers
down the shore…” holds a special place in
your heart, then a beach shoot is for you!

How Much Do Photoshoots Cost?
Each Individual Photoshoot is $50. However, the more
you select, the more they are discounted.
Our most popular option is our FOUR
Photoshoot package that gives you the
ability to have four completely different
looks for $160. That’s $40 off the regular
price.
Most seniors will select yearbook,
Indoors, Outdoors and either a My
Passion, or one of the other more
creative options, like a Ringlight or
Formal shoot.
Remember, for an additional fee, we
can also go on location to do your My
Passion or Outdoor shoot! The beach
is our most popular destination, but
we can go most anywhere that has
meaning to you. Sports pictures on the
athletic field, pool or gym, your horse
where you ride or board him. Music or
dance on stage where you perform.
Be Creative!
YOU get to pick exactly the styles YOU like best. No minimum, no
maximum… let your imagination be your guide. Have an idea, request, or
concept for your Senior Photoshoot that isn’t covered here? Call us… we’ll
make it happen!
Once you have an idea of
the kinds of images that
appeal to you, you are
ready for your planning
session, where we can
discuss the details of what
you’d like to have done, go
over things like locations,
clothing, pricing, etc. and
answer any questions you
may have. Then we can
schedule a date and an
appropriate amount of
time for your Senior
Photoshoot with Dennis.
