DIRECTIONS
You will normally pick up your hired car immediately you exit the arrivals lounge after picking up your
luggage.
Remember, in Cyprus you drive on the left just like at home.
Your journey to the apartment should take you approx. 20 minutes and to the villa should take approx 30
minutes. No matter which property, you will take the same route from the airport to Paphos, and then there
are specific instructions below as to where you go depending on your property destination.
1. On leaving the airport, turn left.
2. After about 4 or 5kms, you reach a t-junction. Turn left
3. There are two options to get to Paphos - the old road and the motorway. After turning left at the tjunction, you are on the old road. Your first option is to stay on this road for about 8 kms until you
reach a roundabout with Debenhams and next close by. Take first left at this roundabout. This old
road is straight forward but there are regularly road works on some stretches and the diversions can
be a little confusing. If you decide to take the old road, go straight to point 9.
4. Approx 2kms along the old road, there is a junction. Take a right at this junction for the motorway.
5. Drive approx 2 kms and you will turn left for the motorway to Paphos.
6. Drive for 6 - 8kms to the end of this motorway.
7. You will reach a roundabout. Take first left. You will be following signs for port, Paphos, Kato Paphos.
You will pass McDonalds.
8. At the next roundabout you will see Debenhams, next and the football stadium. Drive straight
through.
9. After driving through a set of traffic lights you will come to another roundabout. Take the exit right.
10. From this point, it is actually a straight road but it may not feel like it as there are numerous traffic
lights to go through. Simply keep going straight.
11. After 2 or 3kms you will drive through the popular tourist area of Paphos called Tombs of the Kings
where our apartment is located. If you are heading for the apartment follow points 12 to 17. If you
are heading for the villa, skip to point 18
TO THE APARTMENT:
12. You will pass numerous pubs and restaurants Fat Mamas,
the Pit Stop , Thom a s Jung le, King s Ro a d , O Neills, Yia m a s,
etc. Look for a large sign for Tombs of The Kings
13. Take first right about 100m after the Tombs of the Kings
sign. There is a large Keo sign on the right hand side
14. At the end of the road turn right
15. Travel for approx 250m and turn right at the blue and
white building which is the offices of Aristodemou
Developers
16. Take the first left and then first right and follow the road
round to Royal Seacrest
17. The apartment location is shown on the complex plan.
The barriers do not work without a swipe card which is in
the apartment safe. YOU HAVE ARRIVED!!
TO THE VILLA:
18. After 10 or 15 minutes driving, the frequency of
hotels etc dwindles and the road STRAIGHTENS
out and runs directly beside the Mediterranean. If
you look directly ahead of you at this point the
area diagonally left is Coral Bay and the town
diagonally right is Peyia (or Pegeia as it is shown
on local road signs).
19. On your left is a row of retail outlets. One of those
is a buy-sell estate agent. Turn immediately right
at the junction across from the buy-sell. This is just
after the Pizza Hut sign
20. Be careful on this road. There are a couple of bad bends just where you least expect them. Drive for
approx 3 or 4 kms. Landmarks to look for are the football stadium on your right, the gym, presto (!)
and Haris Restaurant on your left and the one to look for is the police station. It will also be on your
left.
21. About 200m past the police station is a junction. Slow down approaching this junction. You have
right of way. There is a left turn before the fish market and a left turn after the fish market. You are
taking the one after the fish market. It is a tight hairpin. If you are unable to see the Fish Market or its
sign, you can also look out for a tourist board sign on the left, about 100m after the police station,
showing Baths of Aphrodite 34kms. The turning described above is just after this sign but do not take
first left to Agios Georgios. Remember it s the second left (the one after the white building, not the
one before)
22. The edited directions from here are 3rd left, 1st left and the villa is about 100m on your right. However
it seems much more complex than that. You are now in a tight little village street. You will drive down
a tight and windy hill. When the road straightens out, you will pass a Kleanthas Savvas holiday
d evelop m ent. Tha t s the 1st left. 50m on is an alternative road to Coral Bay. That s your 2nd left. Pass
the complex called Leptos Peyia Gardens on your left. Take the next left (not the one into the
complex; that s not a roa d !). It s just at Superior Court apartments. That s 3rd left.
23. Then take 1st left. There is a sig n sa ying Ca rob Trees on the sm a ll w a ll
24. The villa is 100m on your right. Drive straight into the driveway. You have arrived!!

Please bear in mind that there is no lifeguard on duty so please exercise care when

There are sun loungers provided as a common resource for use around the pool area.
These are intended to be for the use of owners and their guests after the owner has paid a
fee to the developer. We are fully paid and you are entitled to use these facilities. (Please
see separate notice in relation to sunbed use).
Most owners have not provided beach towels. However, we appreciate that these are
rather bulky items and take a lot of your space allowance on airplanes. So we have
decided to provide beach towels. However, in order for the towels to be maintained in
good order and fit for the next guest, we restrict their use to the complex. If they were to be
used by the sea then they would become very sandy and marked very quickly. Therefore
we ask you to please respect this condition.
Also, supplying beach towels is not common and the property management company is
not setup to handle the turnaround time for the extra washing. Therefore we also request
you to wash any beach towels used during your stay.

Adonis Baths, with its two level waterfall, is a beautiful
little paradise which is really worth visiting. This is where
Adonis the lover of Aphrodite used to bathe, according
to Greek mythology. Here you will have the opportunity
of swimming and swing from a rope into the refreshing
mountain waters. Adonis baths can be found about 1km
from the Coral Bay area and is therefore ideally situated
close to the villa
This beauty spot is situated past the fishing harbour of
Latsi towards the tip of the Akamas peninsula. A natural
pool grotto surrounded in greenery, the site lies at the
end of a small nature trail. As its name suggests, the
grotto is said to be where the Goddess of Love used to
bathe. The myth also tells that this is where Aphrodite met
her lover, the handsome Adonis, when he stopped off for
a drink while hunting.
Cedar Valley in Tilliryan Troodos is a must for nature
lovers. The cedars in this secluded valley are indigenous
Cyprus cedars, close relatives of the famous cedars of
Lebanon. There are thousands of them in Cedar Valley.
It's not the easiest of places to find, but you are
guaranteed peace and quiet once you get there. And if
you are really lucky you can see the moufflon, a species
of wild sheep native to Cyprus, and the national symbol.
Troodos is the biggest mountain range of Cyprus,
located in the centre of the island. Troodos' highest peak
is Mount Olympus at 1,952 metres. Troodos mountain
range stretches across most of the western side of
Cyprus. There are many famous mountain resorts,
Byzantine monasteries and churches on mountain peaks,
and nestling in its valleys. There are nine churches and
one monastery in Troodos that are counted among
UNESCO's World Heritage Sites
Paphos harbour attracts visitors all year round. The
quayside is lined with restaurants, tavernas and cafes,
and the view is superb, with lots of colourful fishing boats
bobbing in the harbour. The remains of a fort dating from
1391 can be seen at the end of the harbour area. It can
be reached via a small bridge over a moat and is worth
a visit for the view from the top.
The harbour is also a good place to take a boat tour of
the surrounding beaches and coastline.
Paphos bird park was opened in 2003 and is set in a
beautiful location just a few kilometres from the villa. It
has a vast collection of birds including exotic parrots,
hornbills, toucans, eagles, owls, peacocks, ornamental
pheasants, water fowl and many more. The park is
committed to the breeding and conservation of birds,
animals and plant life of Cyprus and of the world and is
well worth a visit. The park is open 365 days a year.
You will find the Tombs of the Kings 10 minutes from our
villa on the main Tombs of the Kings road to Paphos. The
Tombs of the Kings is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and
the tombs are impressive enough to be worthy of kings.
They are burial caves carved into the bedrock of the hill
and decorated with Doric columns and capitals; they
date from the 4th century BC. You can freely walk about
the site once inside, searching through the rooms of the
tombs, with parts underground carved into the rock.
Aphrodites Rock is located off the old Pafos-Limassol
road where there are breathtaking views of the sea, and
spectacular sunsets. Legend has it that this is the rock
from which Aphrodite mythically arose from the foams in
the sea.
Another legend says that if you swim around the rock
three times naked under a full moon, you'll find true love.
Roman Mosaics are ancient ruins found in Paphos. They
are considered as the most beautiful mosaics found in
the world. Paphos' sumptuous Roman mosaics are some
of the finest to have been discovered anywhere in the
world. They decorated the homes of the imperial Roman
commanders who governed Cyprus 2000 years ago and
tell the stories of key mythological episodes, including
Dionysus' gift of wine to man.
SPORT IN THE PAPHOS AREA
Secret Valley Golf Club is approx 30 minutes drive from
the villa and is well worth the visit. Suitable for all levels of
golfer, you will find 18 challenging and occasionally
breathtaking holes.
The 19th hole is not bad either! An excellent clubhouse
facility awaits you for a cold refreshing beer or a very
reasonable lunch menu will satisfy most appetites.
Minthis Hills Golf Club (formerly Tsada) is the oldest course
in Cyprus and has a sort of rustic feel to it, with fairways
that are more natural than manicured running through
fruit orchards and vineyards. It's a pleasant course where
accuracy is more important than length - though the
sloping fairways mean you'll play precious few shots off a
flat surface. Set 500m above sea level, there are lovely
views of the coastline and Paphos town. An enjoyable
course for high and low handicappers alike.
Aphrodite Hills' 18-hole standard championship golf
course follows the scenic contours of the two plateaus
that are divided by a central ravine. Its challenging
fairways cutting a swathe through lakes, olive and carob
trees. No wonder the course has taken its rightful place
among the very best the Mediterranean can offer. A
premier Golf Academy and Pro Shop enhance your golf
experience, while the Clubhouse offers delectable
specialities and a breathtaking view of the golf course.
APOP Kinyras Peyias is the football club from the town of
Peyia. The club was founded in 2003 after the merger of
two clubs: APOP Peyias and Kinyras Empas. The club's
history began in the 3rd Division (2003/04) where they
were promoted to the 2nd Division as Champions. The
following season they were promoted again as 2nd
Division Champions to the Cypriot 1st Division. Games
are normally played on a Saturday or Sunday evening
and the stadium is within walking distance of the villa

The Mill Pub. One of several pubs in the village, (the
others including Alex, The Jail & The Grand) is a very
friendly place that even includes a barbers!! They serve
excellent breakfasts and lunches, and in the evening,
whilst they do not serve food themselves, are happy to
allow you to wait on your pizza from the Italian carry out
next door! An excellent place for a quiet drink, to watch
some live football or simply to people watch, The Mill is
only a 12 minute walk from the villa
Owned by Demetra, (who also owns the art gallery next
door), a visit to the Mediterranean Bistro is an experience
that you must try at least once. Excellent food (try the
seafood special), an excellent if a little eccentric host
and a superb little atmosphere combine to give a most
enjoyable evening. They even have an old 78rpm wind
up gramophone to add to the daftness of it all! This is the
first restaurant you will pass walking to the village from
the villa, which adds to its appeal!
Lovely little tavern in the heart of Peyia hence the name.
No menu, the owner just tells you what his wife has
cooked that evening. There are usually 5 or 6 choices.
Dessert is a banana! The food has always been delicious
whenever we have dined there. Well worth a visit and
great value for money. Very popular especially on Friday
and Saturday nights so you may need to book if visiting in
peak times.
Coral Bay beach lies on one of the few remaining
unspoilt stretches of coastline in Cyprus. Just a 5 minute
drive in your rental car from the villa or a 15 minute
bus/taxi ride from the apartment, Coral Bay is a beach
just made for relaxing and sun-worship! It's no surprise
that a small resort has grown up around this most
beautiful of Cyprus beaches. Further round the same
stretch of coast (follow the 15 bus to its terminus) is the
smaller Corallia Beach, which is excellent for snorkelling.
Trattoria La Vigna is one of our favourite restaurants. We have
never had a bad meal there. Although the service can
som etim es b e a b it slow , it s nic e not to b e rushed and as long
a s yo u a re p rep a red to ta ke tim e a nd b e la id b a c k tha t s fine.
If you are impatient and can't wait I suggest you try a take
away instead
Give this resta ura nt a try if in Cora l Ba y. It s o ne of the m a ny
excellent restaurants on the strip and is a 5 minute drove from
the villa or about 15 minutes from the apartment
This is definitely worth going once during your stay in Paphos.
The atmosphere is very good and the food portions are HUGE!
Don't order a starter and make sure you're starving when you
go. It's different to most other restaurants in the area and this
probably accounts for its popularity.
But it's definitely worth standing in line and going for an
alternative night out.
This is Yialos Tavern 300m out of Coral Bay, Cyprus, about 5
mins drive from our villa in Peyia. Try this if you like local Cypriot
food. Be hungry as the food is plentiful. You also get lots of
side dishes served with the salad. There is no menu as such as
you will be served whatever was fresh that day at market. It is
a family run business. Mum & son do most of the
serving/cooking. Rena's son is profoundly deaf, but manages
to speak & understand English & German as well as Greek
(obviously). Give it a try especially for a romantic meal as the
views & sunsets are truly spectacular.
Duomo Italian Restaurant Situated on the Tomb of The Kings
Road, by the 5 Star Elysium Resort Hotel, one of Paphos's most
popular Italian Restaurants
This is a 5 minute walk from the apartment, just across from the
Kings Road bar
Palm Grove Restaurant, Coral Bay - This another one of our
favourites and is situated again in the strip at Coral Bay.
Great menu, great service and great cooking. A little pricier
