year. Naengi (shepherd’s purse) and dallae (wild chive) are among the more popular greens, and they can
be cooked in stews or prepared as seasoned side dishes. Naengi is packed with protein, and also has rich
amounts of calcium, iron, vitamin B1 and C, which help strengthen your immune system. Dallae can help you
deal with stomach pains, and is also known to improve your blood circulation and lower cholesterol level.
Ssuk (mugwort), another spring green, is considered particularly beneficial for women. It helps boost your
body heat and take care of your liver. Low in calories and high in health benefits, spring herbs should be on
everyone’s table this season.
