From its beginning in 1852 as a small,
ground-breaking school for 26 children
with developmental disabilities, Elwyn has
grown into a diverse, multi-state human
services organization serving individuals
with a wide range of intellectual, physical,
behavioral and developmental disabilities.
Today, Elwyn serves nearly 13,000 individuals with programs in Pennsylvania,
New Jersey, Delaware and California.
Elwyn offers services in behavioral health,
early childhood, special education, research and health services, work and
adult day programs and supports for living.

to become a title sponsor of the 20th Annual Sun East / H.B.
Golf Classic held annually for the benefit of Elwyn. Over the
past 20 years, the H.B. Golf Classic has raised thousands of
dollars in support of Elwyn and its mission of providing services to children and adults with special needs.
This year’s event will be held on Monday, September 26,
2011 at the Blue Bell Country Club in Blue Bell, Pa., an
Arnold Palmer signature course. Blue Bell has hosted
many prestigious golf events, such as the Grand Champions
Celebrity Golf Classic, the Legg Mason/Aetna U.S. Healthcare Classic and the Legg Mason Classic. The 18-hole course
offers a challenging layout with rolling hills, water hazards
and strategically positioned bunkers. Please see the club’s
