This range provides a large switching capacity and high density GE ports. The model SWM-24GPS-4GSF support up to 24 GE POE source port with 30W per port. Gigabit Ethernet With more and more applications demanding higher bandwidth the SWM-24TGX-4GSF offers wire-speed 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 4 GE optical ports. The SWM-24TGX-4GSF is able to identify and process traffic flows from L2-L4. With independent packet filters, all ports distinguish different flows and forward them with corresponding priority. High reliability The SWM-24TGX-4GSF provides enhanced Ethernet reliability technologies such as STP/ RSTP/MSTP, as well as R-link at millisecondlevel protection switchover to ensure link-level reliability and the IUT G.8032 ring protection with recovery time less than 50ms. The SWM24TGX-4GSF supports link-aggregation to provide a simple and cost efficient way to expand the bandwidth and load-balancing among the ports for enhancing connection reliability SWM-24GPS-4GSF PoE model supports 1+1 redundant hot swappable power supply for equipment level reliability. Superior Quality of Service The SWM-24TGX-4GSF offers Gigabit Ethernet speed with intelligent services that keep everything flowing smoothly with mechanisms for marking, classification, and scheduling deliver. It supports traffic classification based on abundant criteria such as MAC/IP address, Layer 4 TCP/UDP port number, protocol, port and VLAN. Each port supports 8 priority queues with multiple queue scheduling algorithms such as SP/ PQ, WRR, SP/PQ+WRR to ensure the highestpriority packets are serviced ahead of all other traffic. Advanced security The SWM-24TGX-4GSF offers a comprehensive security solution by providing service security in three areas: subscriber, switch and network. Subscriber security helps create protections among customers with multiple features, DHCP Snooping, ARP Inspection, and IP Source Guard help to identify each customer based on MAC, IP address and port information to help prevent malicious attack. Switch security means CPU can be protected from DoS attack and storm control. The port security feature allows controlling the number of MAC addresses against overwhelming the switch memory. Network security is to filter all incoming traffic for ensuring only valid traffic passing through by applying different ACL rules and IEEE 802.1x authentication prevents insecure terminals to endanger the entire network. Enhanced POE function SWM-24GPS-4GSF-PE switch complies with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at, it can supply maximum 30W power (per PoE port) to power devices such as IP Phone, Wifi APs, cameras at 24 PoE port simultaneously by using two 500W power modules. Intelligent PoE allocations can also be applied for more efficient energy savings. The user can configure when and whether the PoE port to supply power. Easy management & maintenance The SWM-24TGX-4GSF supports Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) v1/v2/v3. It facilitates equipment management by flexible methods, such as CLI, Telnet, Web in http or https and a user-friendly GUI Wview platform. For enhanced traffic management, monitoring and analysis, the embedded Remote Monitoring (RMON) software agent supports four RMON groups (history, statistics, alarms and events) RSPAN allows administrators to remotely monitor ports in a Layer 2 switch network from any other switch in the same network Loopback detection tests end-to-end traffic condition in the network.
