Basic Information
Operating on the Czech market since 1998, the RTI cz s.r.o.
company has been focusing mostly on radio and TV signal propagation in the territory of the Czech Republic.
We are a holder of certificate no 1512 issued by the Czech Telecommunication Office according to § 14, paragraph 1 of Act no
127/2005.
We currently operate 60 radio transmitters for FM broadcasting
located mainly in West Bohemia and 6 DAB transmitters in the
Prag, Plzen, South Bohemia, and Karlovy Vary Regions.

FM Radio Station
The RTI cz company currently operates 58 radio transmitters in
Prague and the Plzen, Central Bohemia, South Bohemia, and Karlovy Vary Regions. Our most notable customers include the public
service Czech Radio, the BBC News Channel as well as the mostlistened-to private national radio stations Radio Impuls,
Frekvence 1, and Radio Beat.




















We use Europe's state-of-the-art broadcasting technology, which
meets ETSI standards. We provide comprehensive services for
final users, including modulated frequency transmission, back-up
power sources, monitoring, and a control centre. Servicing is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The total radiated power of our transmitters is 78 kW ERP.

The beginnings of digital radio broadcasting at our company
date back to 2007, when we embarked on a technical and professional training and cooperation with technicians from the
German transmitter HoherBogen.
In 2011, the Czech Telecommunication Office organized a tender in which we obtained a frequency allocation to provide terrestrial digital radio propagation on L-band.
Our first DAB+ digital radio broadcasting transmitter was
launched on 11 January 2013 at 11:01. Subsequently, two other
transmitters were launched, one in Ceske Budejovice and one on
top of the Klinovec mountain, which provides broadcasting for the
Karlovy Vary Region.
At the turn of 2013–2014, we successfully obtained III-Band frequencies and launched transmitters in Plzen and on the Kluk hill
near Ceske Budejovice. 2014 has so far seen a gradual extension of digital signal coverage in Prague.
This year, the Czech Telecommunication Office is also preparing
a tender for allocating frequencies in the 174–230 MHz band for
national and regional networks. RTI cz s.r.o. will definitely be part
of it.

We run a website on digital radio broadcasting. It is the only website in the Czech Republic offering comprehensive information on
DAB. It includes coverage maps, lists of transmitters, operators and
radio stations, DAB history in the world and in the Czech Republic,
and many interesting links and pieces of information on digital radio.

FM Signal Measurement
We provide VHF/TV signal strength and coverage measurement,
frequency channel occupancy measurement in a given area, transmitter and antenna systems measurement and set up, and test
broadcasts for flight measurements. The resulting data are processed in the form of measurement protocols and technical documentation for license applications.

We provide broadcasting studio planning and set up, audio processing, modulated frequency transmission via link data transfer,
frequency translation or the internet, and additional information
broadcast via RDS.

Monitoring Centre
All broadcasting devices are integrated in a monitoring system via
SNMP, an online interface or a text message. Thanks to this data
processing, the servicing team is ready to immediately address a
potential failure.

Promotion
Our aim is to spread information on digital radio broadcasting
among the public and support DAB in the Czech Republic. We
regularly attend cultural events, debates (Czech Radio Plzen),
seminars (DIGIMEDIA, RADIO KONFERENCE), trade shows
(IBC, IFA), and open door days (Czech Radio Praha, Czech Radio
Plzen, Ceske Budejovice) or give presentations on digital radio
(Czech Telecommunication Office).

RTI´s Masts
RTI cz s.r.o. operates its own masts. As of today,
we have seven masts used mainly for radio
broadcasting. These masts are located in Pilsen,
Klatovy - Doubrava, Domazlice, Javornik and
Klinovec.
A mast base for an eigth mast is located on the
Sylvan hill in Pilsen. It is scheduled to be finished
by mid-2014. The mast will be used mainly for
DAB digital radio broadcasting.

Our Future Plans
Digital radio in the Czech Republic is currently at the beginning of a
long journey.The RTI cz s.r.o. company already offers all available
DAB technology features to everyone interested in this service. We
are ready to take part in a tender organized by the Czech
Telecommunication Office for the allocation of frequency usage
rights for the national and regional digital radio multiplexes.
We are currently finishing the wor on our own online shop selling
DAB radio receivers. Our aim is to offer quality service and a wide
variety of products.
