break. The successful bids from the Silent Auction will be
announced at the end of the break.
When paying by cheque, please make cheque payable to SCCS.
Please do not leave until your account is paid. Please pay when
settling your account.
SILENT AUCTION BIDDING
The Silent Auction will be conducted as an up-bidding auction.
There will be an opening bid of $20.00 on each item sheet. All
lots are valued at far more than this amount. To bid, simply add
your ‘$’ bid and bidder number below the last offer in minimum
$5.00 increments.
Dear Friends and Supporters of Christian Education:
Welcome to the 23rd Annual Goods and Services Dinner and Auction. This event
is the result of many hours and organization, canvassing and computer entry by a
few people. Of course, this event could not exist without the generosity of our
sponsors. Several of our long term sponsors were invited to attend this gathering
tonight as an appreciation for many years of generosity. They will be introduced
to you during the evening. We ask that you please make them feel welcome and
appreciated.
The proceeds tonight are ear-marked for the budget ($25,000.00) with any
additional money going to purchasing new curriculum. Remember that with many
items, you may qualify for a charitable tax receipt IF you pay significantly more
the normal value for the item. Again, thank you for attending this year's Goods
and Services Dinner and Auction. Please feel free to invite friends who may enjoy
this type of event and witness the support Christian Education receives from so
many people.
