Surface Preparation:
Physical Properties:
• Remove loose rust and paint
• Remove grease, dirt and oils
• Sand glossy or rough surfaces with 220-grit sandpaper
• Wipe down with tack cloth to remove all dust
• Apply to dry surface
• When painting over a previously painted item, test paint
for compatibility in an inconspicuous area
Dry to Touch:
Indoor/Outdoor: 10 minutes
Indoor/Outdoor Metallics: 15 minutes
Acrylic Crystal Color: 10 minutes
Acrylic Crystal Clear: 10 minutes
Brushed Metallic: 10 minutes
Primer: 10 minutes

•Shake can vigorously for 2 minutes after enclosed ball

•Repeat shaking can for 10 seconds after each

•Test spray in an inconspicuous area for compatibility
•Hold can 6–8 inches from surface
•Spray in a sweeping motion, beginning off the
surface and continuing each pass off the other side
•Apply multiple thin coats to avoid runs and drips

•Additional coats will darken color but will remain transparent
•Apply 1 coat of Acrylic Crystal Clear if a higher gloss
is desired
