UWS Special Order Service
UWS offers a service through our Dealer/Distributor channels to build a
product specifically to the design needed to suit a particular customers’
needs. This is a service which incorporates the best design features of our
standard products into a custom tailored finished product, made just exactly
the way the customer wants it. When complete, the UWS product has the
look of a fine custom unit. UWS uses CAD system design where needed.
All materials are cut to be formed by use of our state-of-the-art fabricators.
In order to purchase an item as a “Special Order” a sequence is necessary to
follow in order to ensure both an accurate as well as a timely procedure.
This sequence is as follows:
• The Dealer and the Customer fill our the SPECIAL ORDER FORM showing the design and shape of the desired
product to be built. This form should address any particular materials, measurements and features desired.
• The Dealer will then fax this SPECIAL ORDER FORM to UWS via normal channels.
• Upon receipt, UWS will determine the cost of the project and contact the Dealer, through normal channels, with
a cost quote. (Normally this will occur within 2 working days.)
• The Dealer will then contact the customer for his/her approval of the cost and the final measurements and
specifications, as indicated on the Special Order Form.
• Once the customer has agreed to the cost and the finalized design, he/she will sign a copy of this
acknowledging and approving the design and the agreed upon cost.
• The dealer will then fax this to UWS with a PURCHASE ORDER in order to initiate the manufacturing process. (Only at this point will UWS recognize this as a valid order.)
• Once UWS has received the Purchase Order from our dealer, UWS will start to initiate the manufacturing
process. Within a normal time span of 15 days; (from the date of the Dealer faxing back the final plans and a
purchase order and UWS receiving it); the unit will be ready to be shipped back to the Dealer. (This process
assumes normal working conditions.)
Once the product is finished, you will have a custom-built unit that suits your
exact need, designed by you and built and finished in the same fine tradition
as our entire “World Class Product Line.” We hope you take advantage of this
service if you ever need something specific and there just isn’t a stock item
that fills your need.

Product Warranty
1 Year Warranty – Aluminum and Steel Boxes
United Welding Services, Inc. warrants that the products it sells are free from defects in
materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one year from the date of purchase
to the original purchaser. This warranty does not cover defects or damage arising from improper installation,
inadequate maintenance, improper storage, shipping and handling, ordinary wear and tear, misuse, abuse,
accident, unauthorized service, or use with or on unauthorized products or parts, or use for any other purpose
than that which is herein stated. The only liability of this company hereunder in tort and contract, under this
warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of any product or component part which shall prove
defective to the original purchaser. Secure toolbox and chestbox only with provided or approved fasteners.
Do not operate vehicle with unsecured toolbox or chestbox.
United Welding Services, Inc. will not pay cost of repair performed other than in accordance with this warranty.
Notice of a product believed to be defective as covered by this warranty should be directed to the original
seller and should include the purchaser’s name and address, original or copy of the receipt or invoice, the
warranty label with code located in the inside of the lid of the box, and a brief description of the defect. Upon
receipt of such notice the original seller will inspect the product and will proceed with the guidelines set forth
by his supplier. There are no express warranties except as listed above. The foregoing warranty is in lieu of any
and all warranties, expressed or implied. All implied warranties including, but not limited to, the warranty of
merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby excluded. United Welding Services, Inc. shall
not be liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from use of its products, or arising out of any
breach of this warranty. The foregoing limitations and exclusions are intended to be effective to the maximum
extent permitted by law.
Limited Lifetime Warranty – ProGrade Steel Boxes
UWS brand Storage Solutions are warranted during the time that an original retail purchaser owns the product.
This warranty terminates if a purchaser transfers the product to any other person. Subject to the limitations
and exclusions described in this warranty, the manufacturer will remedy defects in materials or workmanship
by repairing or replacing, at its option, a defective product without charge for parts or labor. In addition, the
manufacturer may elect, at its option, not to repair or replace a defective product but rather issue to a
purchaser a refund equal to the purchase price paid for the product or a credit to be used toward the
purchase of a new UWS Storage Solution. No warranty is given for defects caused by normal wear and tear,
cosmetic rust, scratches, accidents, unlawful vehicle operation, or modification of, or any types of repair of,
a Storage Solution other than those authorized by the manufacturer. No warranty is given for defects resulting
from conditions beyond the manufacturer’s control including, but not limited to, misuse, overloading, or failure
to assemble, mount or use the product in accordance with the manufacturer’s written instructions or
guidelines included with the product or made available to the purchaser. No warranty is given for UWS
products purchased outside of the United States, Canada and Mexico. In the event that a product is
defective, the purchaser should contact the UWS Storage Solution dealer from whom it purchased the
product or an Authorized UWS Storage Solution Service Center. If the dealer or any Authorized UWS Storage
Solution Service Center is not able to correct the defect, the purchaser should contact the manufacturer in
writing or by phone at:
