Vending Machine Performance Features
The Siamonie 01 vending machine prepares various coffee and chocolate beverages, which can be improved with optional ingredients.
Coffee is brewed with freshly ground beans using the espresso process.
The vending machine is available with an optional milk module. With this module the milk is foamed with steam and
air in a milk frother. The milk cooling module (refrigerator) can be mounted on the left side of the vending machine.
Other optional module groups are available such as a payment module or cup warmer. These can be set up next to the
vending machine.
The beverage can be selected conveniently on a pressure-sensitive foil keyboard or on a touch screen with context-dependent display. To select simply press a selection key or touch the touch screen with your finger. After selecting the
product the vending machine operates automatically.
All vending machine functions are controlled by a microprocessor module. The control contains storage space for sales
and error statistics.
The touch screen with HMI interface is controlled by an internal PC.
An online module can be used for external data transfer.
The coffee beans are ground in an integrated grinder and feed to the brewing unit.
The coffee is brewed at a water temperature of approx. 95°C and water pressure of up to 10 bars. This ensures its special
taste and aroma.
After completion of the brewing process, the used coffee grounds are ejected into the grounds container.
The cocoa powder is transferred from the product container to the mixer shell where it is dissolved in hot water. The
finished hot beverage flows through the outlet to the beverage discharge.
The automatic cleaning program facilitates daily cleaning of the vending machine (brewer, milk system, mixer). Only a
minimum of manual cleaning manipulations are required for preparation; the cleaning program then runs fully automatically.

2.5 Service key
CAUTION! Danger of pinching!
When the door switch is bypassed, the brewing unit can cause pinching injuries!
Never reach into the brewing unit when the door contract switch is bypassed!
CAUTION!
Use of the service key is reserved exclusively for trained service technicians. When the service key is
inserted a protective device is bypassed. Caution, danger of injury!
The operator of the vending machine is responsible for safekeeping of the service key. Never leave the service key in the
appliance. The service key is intended for use by trained service technicians exclusively.
Inserting service key
1. Insert the service key vertically into the door contact switch and turn it clockwise 90°.
2. Release the service key; the service key is then inserted. The door contact switch is bypassed.
3. Remove in opposite sequence.
2.6 Mechanical Safety
The brewing chamber moves in the horizontal direction when preparing coffee to press the water through the ground
coffee. This motion is also performed when the brewer is being rinsed during regular care.
Therefore:
Never reach into the brewing chamber or touch the brewing chamber carriage!
A corresponding warning symbol is attached to the brewing chamber cover.
2.7 Temperature
The appliance contains a boiler which is continuously filled with hot water. The temperature of the water is over 90°C.
The temperature of the water in the boiler decreases only slowly after switching off the appliance.
Therefore:
Avoid contact with hot water; danger of scalding.
The danger is particularly high at the discharge openings for the beverage and at the hot water outlet
when the product is being dispensed.

4 Transport, Setup, Startup
4.1 Transport
The vending machine was emptied at the factory to prevent damage from freezing during transport and storage. For this
reason it is necessary to fill the boiler once manually (see “4.3.5 Filling boiler” on Page 29)
If the vending machine has already been operated and is to be transported to a new location, ensure that it is not subject to freezing temperatures. Failure to observe can result in damage from freezing. For this purpose empty the boiler.
Use the original packaging for transporting the machine!
Emptying the boilers
Interrupt the water supply to the vending machine. Place an appropriately large container below the beverage discharge.

allow the grinder to run while adjusting.
After adjusting the grinding fineness, recalibrate the grinders
To adjust the grinding fineness, press in the adjustment screw (see next page) on the grinder with a screwdriver and
turn in increments.

only be deleted/reset at the factory. The vends are displayed from
the time the machine was initially put into service
6.4.5 [Products/Test vends]
6.4.5.1 [Cup settings]
The products can be adapted to the size of your cups in this menu.
Adaptation depends initially on the total product quantity. This
means that only the quantity of water is changed. This changes
the concentration/strength of the product.
The green bar shows the present quantity of water for the product. The quantity of water can be increased or reduced with the
+ and - keys. The upper and lower limits for adaptation are 120%
and 80% based on the original quantity of water.
for example, if Selection1, here coffee, is set to a total product
quantity of 150 ml, adaptation to 90% reduces the total product
quantity to 135 ml.
In addition to changing the quantity of water, it is also possible
to adapt the product quantity. This serves to compensate for any
change in the concentration/strength of a product.
Perform a test sale after adaptation. Save the value after reaching the desired quantity.

After completion of the number of steps selected, enter the quantity discharged during all steps.
Example: You have selected 3 steps; 31.6 grams are now present
in the cup. Enter [31] - [ . ] - [ 6 ] and confirm the entry with
. The vending machine automatically calculates the value for one
single dispensing operation (here: 31.6g / 3 Steps = 10.5g)
Calibrating milk pump
To calibrate the peristaltic pump it is first necessary to pump milk into the hose.
Calibration of the peristaltic pump requires 3 calibration operations in sequence. After each individual operation it is
necessary to enter and conform the quantity dispensed.
Perform the first calibration operation at 80% pump speed, the second at 90% pump speed and the third at 100% pump
speed. The quantities dispensed should therefore increase.

9 Trouble Shooting / FAQ
▪▪ Frothed milk not as desired?
► Good frothed milk is highly dependent on the milk itself (butter fat, temperature, etc.) You can change the air
setting for frothing the milk on the regulating valve.
▪▪ Is water supply secured?
► The pressure should be at least 2 bars. Hose kinked?
▪▪ Is the product container in question full?
► Coffee beans, instant products must be present
▪▪ Have the grounds container/surplus water tank been emptied properly?
► Internal counter is reset
▪▪ Is milk still present? (Fresh milk versions only)
► Depending on the Siamonie version Duo 2102 or Duo 2103, the topping is switched over or the products in
question marked "Not available"
▪▪ Is the drip tray full of water?
► Metal contacts at the rear of the drip tray detect when it overflows. When actuated, the vending machine
shuts down.
Caution: After emptying the drip tray it is necessary to wipe the metal contacts dry with a dishtowel.
▪▪ Has the coffee vending machine been cleaned with the automatic cleaning program?
► The cleaning concept calls for mandatory daily cleaning, otherwise the vending machine shuts down
▪▪ Does the product or instant chute reach into the mixer shell?
► Otherwise powder is not transferred
▪▪ Is the milk frother installed correctly (if present)?
► It is particularly important to ensure that the cover makes good contact on the milk frother, otherwise the
frothed milk is not dispensed correctly
▪▪ Are products marked "Not available"
► An ingredient is missing, e.g. milk, coffee beans.
▪▪ Is the slide feed on the bean container open?
► The beans can only fall through when the slide feed is in the forward position
▪▪ Is the vending machine door closed?
► For safety reasons the coffee vending machine operates only when the door is closed
▪▪ Software (HMI) does not react as usual
► Reset control by switching main switch on inside of vending machine off and then back on
