Day 1 – Rome – Meet&greet, transfer to the

Day 2 – Rome – Breakfast. Panoramic tour of

Rome on board vintage Fiat 500 cars with drivers
including stops for unique views of this ancient city
and … a gelato lunch downtown ! Afternoon
cooking lesson (Breads & Roman specialties)
followed by dinner. Overnight 4-star boutique hotel
downtown location.
Day 3 – Rome / Marmore Falls / Spoleto –
Breakfast. Departure by private minibus with
driver and resident English speaking tour escort
(both will be at group’s disposal for the whole tour)
to Umbria Region, the most green Italian Region. In
less than 3 hours drive we will join a spectacular
natural show as beautiful as a painting : the
Marmore Waterfalls !

Day 3 (cont’d) - Rome / Marmore Falls /
Spoleto
It’s one of the tallest in Europe, 165 meters high
with five easy trails to visit them. Beyond
the spectacle of the Nera and Velino river waters,
the area of Marmore Waterfalls offers
the great possibility to visit a wide natural
park with unique views and activities … for those
with a more adventurous feel, there are rafting,
canoeing and canyoning opportunities ! Tired but
happy we will proceed to Spoleto for dinner and
overnight at our country-farm offering hospitality
based on the principle of feeling at home.
Day 4 – Spoleto – Breakfast. Morning guided
bike tour exploring this awesome and peaceful
land with unspoiled nature, flavored organic olive
oil, local wines and more ….. tour will end with a
wonderful picnic lunch. Afternoon guided excursion
to Spoleto including dinner. Overnight.
Day 5 – Spoleto – Breakfast. Today’s culinary
activity will be a cooking class in the ancient
kitchen, we’ll learn how to prepare Umbrian
specialties using mostly local organic products,
which is the main philosophy behind all the
borgo’s culinary activities. Lunch & dinner
included. Overnight.
Day 6 –Spoleto / Florence / San Casciano
Val di Pesa – Breakfast. Departure onto Tuscany
Region stopping on our way in Florence for a
panoramic tour and a light gourmet lunch at
typical trattoria downtown. After lunch we’ll head
to our Tuscan borgo, magnificently placed in the
green of the Tuscan countryside, up on the hill
with breathtaking views …. halfway between
Florence and Siena. Welcome dinner and overnight.
Day 7 - San Casciano Val di Pesa / San Gimignano
/ San Casciano Val di Pesa – Breakfast. Morning’s
culinary activity : Tuscan cooking class with professional
chef at our borgo, followed by lunch tasting what we have
prepared ! Late afternoon excursion to San Gimignano,
named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1990 and famous
worldwide for its 14 soaring Medieval towers. We'll have a
walking along the main streets including Piazza della
Cisterna, Piazza del Duomo the Collegiata. We’ll enjoy
dinner in a lovely restaurant before going back to our borgo
for overnight.
Day 8 - San Casciano Val di Pesa – Breakfast. Morning
excursion in the heart of Chianti Classico, we’ll enjoy a
guided tour of a historical noble villa and its park, Villa Le
Corti, we’ll discover the story and the traditions of this
ancient family, the Corsini. Our tour will also include a visit
to the historic cellars, the olive mill and to the “orciaia”
through a series of underground tunnels that pass under the
Villa. We will have the chance to learn about the winemaking and the oil pressing methods.After lunch return to
the Borgo for farewell dinner and overnight.
Day 9 – San Casciano Val di Pesa / Siena –
Breakfast. Departure onto Siena. Walking tour of this
awesome Tuscan town, through the narrow medieval streets
we’ll reach Piazza del Campo, the main square in Siena, with
its magical medieval atmosphere we’ll learn everything
about the Palio Horse Race. After a lunch with a view we’ll
proceed to the farm-house very close to Siena, our next
home for the next three nights ! Welcome dinner and
overnight.
Day 10 – Siena – Breakfast. Morning walking visit of the
farm, we’ll learn about their wine and oil production
between San Gimignano and Siena. Light lunch. Afternoon
cooking class with organic products followed by dinner.

Day 11 - Siena - Breakfast. Special Spa day at
Rapolano Terme & Bagni di Petriolo, not far from
our farmhouse, we’ll try a swim in this healthy
water ! Light lunch included. Farewell dinner and
overnight at our farmhouse.

Day 12 – Siena / Orvieto / Rome –
Breakfast. Departure back to Rome stopping in
Orvieto, with its dramatic setting, famous for its
regional white wine and the ancient underground
passageways … lunch in a local osteria before
resuming our drive to Rome. Farewell dinner will
be served at a local gourmet restaurant. Overnight.
