His work, which is inspired by the myths and symbols of the ancient traditions of Mexico, has been exhibited in several galleries, including the Museo Nacional de la Estampa in Mexico City, the Centro Cultural de Mexico in Paris, France, the Biblioteca de la Havana in Cuba, and the Legion of Honor and the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, California. The annual Mardi Gras Parade in the Tower begins at one o’clock and travels east along Olive Avenue to Wishon for over an hour of revelry! The parade theme this year is Jungle Safari Mardi Gras. Her TED Talk on “How Body Language Shapes Who You Are” is among the most watched You Tube videos and her research on stereotyping and discrimination led Time magazine to list her first among their “game changers and innovators” of 2012.
