Exclusively playing at: December 2 – 28, 2014 www.beaurivage.com Scott Rousseau Santa Claus Scott F. Rousseau (Santa Claus) has a theatrical career that spans almost 40 years. His acting career began in high school in various roles as well as writing his first musical revue as a senior (that propelled him into college theatre at BYU Idaho.) His first professional work started after school in Atlanta with Theatre of the Stars working in such shows as “On A Clear Day” with Shirley Jones and Terence Monk, “Funny Girl” with Carol Lawrence, and “Irene” with Debbie Reynolds. He later moved to Boston where he performed in America’s longest running community theatre, The Footlight Players, in “Philadelphia Here I Come.” Next was NYC where he landed a role with the national tour of “Annie”. Eventually Scott moved back to his hometown, Atlanta, where he began a directing career (that is still going after 30 years.) He has directed many Atlanta premieres including “Into the Woods”, “Little Shop of Horrors”, “Whoop Dee Doo!”, “When Pigs Fly”, “Weird Romance” and “Chess” to name a few. In addition to acting and directing, Scott has also designed sets and costumes for over 100 productions as well as written several one act plays an children’s musicals. In 1998 Scott was playwright in residence for the Neighborhood Playhouse in Decatur, GA. His published children’s plays include “Cinderelliemae” (a country-western version of Cinderella), “Miracle on Elf Street” (which was produced by Stone Mountain Park during the Christmas season in 2007-08), “Campfire Tales”, and “A Duck’s Tale.” On top of all this, Scott continues his acting career (fresh off a run of “The Sunshine Boys” as Willie Clark in Atlanta), “Sunday in the Park With George”, “Best Little Whorehouse in Texas”, “The Fantasticks”, “Murder On The Nile”, “The Rocky Horror Show”, “Miracle on 34th Street: The Musical” (as Santa!), “On Golden Pond”, “Fiddler On The Roof” (with Theodore Bikell at the Fox Theatre, Atlanta) and Benjamin Franklin in the musical “1776.” Finally, Scott has performed as Santa Claus for more than 15 years (collectively) around the southeast. Galen Crawley Mrs. Claus Galen Crawley (Mrs. Claus) is an Atlanta resident - and native - who holds a BFA in musical theatre from Webster University in St. Louis. Her credits include: Mary Poppins in ”Mary Poppins” (Aurora Theatre); Fiona in “Shrek” and Missie Eliason in “Broke” (Alliance Theatre, Atlanta); The Narrator in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” (Atlanta Lyric Theatre); Chrissie in Hair (Serenbe Playhouse); Rachel Jackson in “Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson” (Actors Express); Peggy Jones in ”Andrews Brothers” and Tracy Lord in “High Society” (Stage Door Players); Alexandra Giddens in “The Little Foxes” (Theatre in the Square). In January, she is returning to Actors Express to play Daphna in Bad Jews. Other regional credits: Sally in “You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown” (Festival 56); Lily St. Regis in “Annie” (The Little Theatre in the Square); Shelly in “Hairspray” and the Star-to-Be in Annie (Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre). Galen's first acting job was in the entertainment department at Stone Mountain Park, in Metro Atlanta, alongside her ‘stage husband’, Scott Rousseau. She has continued to work for Stone Mountain for the last ten years, and she is proud to call the ‘Big Rock’ her second home. Since returning to Atlanta in 2011, Galen has toured metro area schools with both Georgia Shakespeare and Georgia Ensemble Theatre. Keauna McLaughlin Principal Female US National Champion US World & International Team Member Keauna McLaughlin was born in California where she started skating at the age of two years old. Her mother, a professional figure skater, taught her and raised her on the ice as soon as she could walk. Keauna was brought on a Disney on Ice skating tour at age three, where her mother performed as a skater and Keauna learned the essentials of being lifted as a pair skater. Keauna is a two time U.S. National Pair Figure Skating Champion, Junior World Pair Champion and the first and only Junior International Grand Prix Champion for the U.S. She won her first national title before she was old enough to compete at the World Championships and after her second national title Keauna and her partner were sponsored by Coca Cola and Nike. They were featured on a billboard for the Coca Cola winter Olympics campaign in Times Square and she was also featured in ABC's Skating with the Stars as one of the main professional skaters. Keauna's most recent performances have been as a featured roller skating pair act at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas! In her spare time, Keauna enjoys taking dance class and choreographing for young skaters at the rink. She is very excited for the opportunity to be performing for Rand Productions. Brianne Delcourt & Jonathon Hunt Principal Adagio Team US National Bronze Medalist US National & International Team Member Reality TV Star Brianne Delcourt was Canadian National Team member, who at the tender age of 3, put on her first pair of skates on the frozen pond her father use to freeze in her backyard. Since turning Professional Brianne has been touring the world (for 15 yrs!) and for the past 5 years Brianne has been a recurring star for he hit UK television show, “Dancing on Ice”, along side the world renowned Olympic Champions, 'Torvill and Dean.‘ Jonathon Hunt has over 25 years of experience as a professional and competitive figure skater, Jonathan Hunt has made a name for himself through his hard work and dedication to his sport. Over the years he has developed his skills as a world class skater, performing in several high-profile shows. In 2003 Jonathon was a Junior World Pairs Bronze Medalist and in 2004 he won another Bronze medal in the Senior Pairs level. As a professional he has been a principal performer in Radio City’s Christmas Spectacular, Whiskers Holiday Ice Spectacular, and the Ice Mystique show in Ocean Park, Hong Kong. Jonathon has been a principal member of New York Ice Theatre since 2010. Over the years Brianne and Jonathon have joined forces from time-to-time and performed together as the lead adagio team for “The Holiday Ice Spectacular”, “Ice Fantasy” and “Ice Jewelry” (Japan), and “Spellbound on Ice” (Hong Kong), to name a few. They are thrilled to be back together again to launch Rand Productions and the Beau Rivage’s newest show, Santa & Friends on Ice! Cordero Zuckerman Principal Male Gold Medalist US National Team Member Cordero Zuckerman is 22 years old and is from Fairbanks, Alaska. He began skating when he was only 5 years old, and he fell in love with the sport while most of his young piers were learning their ABCs. Cordero competed for 12 years as an amateur skater, achieving a spot on the US National Team for 5 of those years. He signed his first professional contract in 2013 and he recently completed an 8 month tour on board Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas, performing in “Ice Games” and “How To Train Your Dragon On Ice”. Cordero graduated last year from the University of Utah with a BA in Spanish and minor in comparative literature and Korean. He is thrilled to be back on land and said, “I couldn’t be happier than being cast as the lead male soloist in “Santa & Friends on Ice” at the Beau Rivage. It looks like an amazing place to spend the holidays and how fortunate am I to be able to do what I love to do (and entertaining thousands of guests at the same time) during the Christmas holidays!” Adam Brown Principal Elf “Henry”, Comedy & Show Narrator Adam was born near Dallas, TX. He grew up playing sports and started skating at the age of 8. His acting career started when he was a freshman in High School as a child stunt double in the TV Series "Walker Texas Ranger" After graduation from High school, he went off to NYC where he was offered a principle role with Radio City Christmas Spectaculer starring the world famous Rockettes! Adam did a total of 12 seasons in NY and 3 on the North America/Canada tour. Even though Adam was busy during the holiday seasons he was also part of the" Barney 'n Friends" TV series as one of the little Dino's called "Riff" In addition to acting and performing, Adam has also been a Mascot for minor and pro sports teams. One thing he loves about being a mascot is that he loves to get the get crowds going and entertain them! Adam is excited to be working for long-time friend, Jeb Rand, Producer/Director of Rand Productions, and performing in “Santa & Friends on Ice“! Adam said, “I am really looking to starting a new journey on ice and meeting new people along the way! The Beau Rivage looks like an amazing property and I’m truly honored to be part of this inaugural production!” Greg Bonin Principal Elf “Junior” & Specialty Comedy Skater For the last four decades it seems that Greg has been performing and entertaining all over the world. He has toured the world extensively, captivating audiences. He began his performing career in New Orleans and was picked up by Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet while still a teenager. He later signed on with his partner Karyl Kawaichi, and performed as a principal skater for over ten years with Ice Capades. Greg has skated with Olympic Champions, Dorothy Hamill and Scott Hamilton. He has been a principal adagio skater for several television specials and even skated with the Radio City Rockettes. Whether performing in theme parks, on the road or overseas, Greg continues to bring audiences to their feet with his skill, passion and presence. Greg has even stepped into the musical theatre arena with several lead roles under his belt. He is still performing, skating and has settled down back in New Orleans where is teaches theatre for the Gifted and Talented Program of Jefferson Parrish. “Friends” & Specialty Skaters Karel Nekola Karel Nekola was born in the Czech Republic and began skating at the age of 7. He won both the junior and senior men’s national titles for his home country, and he went on to compete at both the European and World Championships. In 2001 he turned professional and since then Karel has with some of the leading production companies and shows around the world. Such as “Holiday on Ice”, “Spotlight Production” (Germany), “Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines” (Worldwide) and “Rand Enterprises & Productions” (Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Japan, China, Reno and Biloxi, MS). This will be Karel’s second visit to Biloxi and the Beau Rivage where he says, “I am is thrilled to be returning to the Beau and being part of the this newand exciting production! Company Manager Mike Berg Elaina Chu Michael’ Bergs skating career started in his home state of Utah. He quickly advanced through the competitive ranks earning top placements at both regional and sectional competitions, which earned him a place on the US National Team. He initially began performing in local shows when he was very young, but Michael really ‘got the show bug’ when was honored and invited to perform in the Opening & Closing Ceremonies at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. The excitement of performing live led him to turn professional he was instantly cast in Cypress Garden’s “Adventure on Ice”. In the years to follow Michael had featured roles in “Magic on Ice” (Mexico), on board the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines (Explorer of the Seas & Freedom of the Seas). Michael also toured with Disney on Ice for two seasons, and performed on three occasions for Rand Productions in “The Holiday Ice Spectacular” (twice) and “Ice Fantasy”. Elaina Chu began skating at the age of four in Belmont, California. She trained with two coaches throughout her career, Katherine Faynor (who skated with Shipstads & Johnson Ice Follies) and Sergei Ponomarenko (1992 Olympic Champion in Ice Dancing). After competing for 12 years she finished testing as a US Figure Skating Double Gold Medalist (Freestyle & Moves in the Field). In 2007 she took a small break from skating and graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelors in Human Development. She returned to skating at the age of 22 as a principle skater with Royal Caribbean. Santa and Friends on Ice will be Elaina’s second contract with Rand Productions, and her second time performing in Biloxi’s Beau Rivage. “Friends” & Specialty Skaters Cole Davis Chelsea Erven Zdenka Hilkova Cole Davis began training for figure skating in his home town of Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of nine. He competed for several years on the US national team and in 2007 he made the decision to fulfill his dreams of skating professionally. Cole started his pro career in Istanbul, Turkey, where he appeared in a skating reality program. In 2008 he traveled to Europe to perform in the “Mystery” Tour for Holiday On Ice. From there, he went to Cincinnati where he skated in the “Endless Summer” at Kings Island--- It was a great time to visit the family as well! The Royal Caribbean Cruise Line is where he boarded next for a nine month tour in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Europe. In 2009 he headed to Idaho to do an ice show at the Silverwood Amusement Park, and afterwards he accepted his first contract with Rand Productions as the lead male in “The Holiday Ice Spectacular” Christmas show. Disney On Ice was his next adventure where he toured the world for three years with “Worlds of Fantasy”, “Toy Story 3”, and “Treasure Trove”. With Disney he played various lead roles such as “Prince Eric”, “Buzz Lightyear”, “Andy”, and “Peter Pan”. Now Cole is back in the states and excited to be doing another Christmas show and working Rand Productions again! Chelsea Erven was first introduced to the ice in her hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico, by her hockey player cousins, but she soon fell in love with the sparkle and beauty of figure skating. Over the nearly 15 years she has spent on the ice, she has competed at the Junior National and then Collegiate levels, became a USFSA Double Gold Medalist, and performed in various local ice shows and between the periods of college hockey games. Performing in professional ice shows has been her dream for many years, and as a graduate of the University of New Mexico, she is looking forward to pursuing performing and coaching. This is her first professional show, and she is so excited and thankful to Rand Productions for such an amazing opportunity. She is also extremely grateful for her parents' continued help and support, without which she would not be where she is today. Zdenka Hilkova began skating at the age of 6 in a little town in north Czech Republic. After a few years of skating she moved to better training facility in Prague. She competed for more than a dozen years and was given her first professional job in 2010. Since then she has never looked back and over the past 4 years Zdenka has performed around the world in France, German, Austria and now the USA! Thank you Rand Productions and Hello Biloxi, MS & the Beau Rivage!!! “Friends” & Specialty Skaters Alejandra Pons Alejandra, from Leon Guanajuato Mexico. Started skating when she was 8 years old. She has been an active member of the Mexican skating federation since 1996. She was a gold medalist at the 2007 Santis Cup in Switzerland and moved to the USA to train under the tutelage of Olympic and World Champion, Victor Petrenko, world-class coach Galina Zmievzkaya, and Olympic Choreographer Nina Petrenko. Alejandra was a four time Mexican National Team Member. Professionally she has skated for The Ice Theatre of New York (since 2011) and most recently performed in Sun Valley for the summer professional ice. Heather Lee began skating at the age of 6. She was a competitive skater for over 13 years and has since continued her love of skating through coaching and in shows around the world. She recently returned from Germany where she performed in over 900 shows in 10 months. She is extremely excited about being cast by Rand Production and being part of the “Santa & Friends on Ice” production and continuing her show career. Heather Lee Shaun Rogers Shaun Rogers, 29, grew up in Baltimore, MD. He began skating at the age of 8, and by the age of 14 won the Novice national title at the U.S. Championships. He continued to skate competitively both nationally and internationally on Team USA until 2010. Since then, Shaun has performed in numerous ice shows around the world--- most recently 4 contracts for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. When Shaun is not performing in shows he coaches at several rinks in the Maryland and Delaware area(s), and also plays music and studies aerial circus arts. Shaun is very excited to join the rest of the cast for his first season with Santa & Friends on Ice at the Beau Rivage! Jeb K. Rand Executive Producer, Creator & Director Jeb K. Rand, President and Executive Producer of Rand Productions, Inc. has been involved in figure skating for over 30 years. During this time he achieved exceptional successes as a skating producer\director and professional performer. Jeb and his long time skating partner and wife, Jennifer, were nationally ranked pairs figure skaters for the United States (1986-1989). As professionals their career spanned over 15 years with principal roles in the Ice Capades, Disney on Ice and Stars on Ice [European Tour]. From 1998 – 2005 Jeb & Jennifer were the lead ice skaters at Radio City Music Hall (in New York City) in The Christmas Spectacular starring the world famous Rockettes. Since 1998 Jeb has created, produced and\or directed dozens of ice shows around the world including star-studded television specials such as Christmas on Ice in Torino, Italy starring Andrea Bocelli and Olympic Champion, Evgeny Plushenko, The Opening of the Rink at Rockefeller Center, and The Golden Skate Awards which annually honors the top ranked figure skaters around the world. Additionally Jeb has produced ice skating shows or scenes for ABC’s Extreme Makeover and Masters of Champions, Fox’s Louis Guzman Show, MTV’s Music Awards as well as numerous cable and regional television specials. For more info www.randproductions.com Simone Grigorescu Alexander Choreographer • World Professional Champion • Professional Skater’s Association (PSA) Master Rated Choreographer Following a successful competitive career, Simone pursued her passion for performing, with professional shows like Electric Ice, Ice Capades and World Cup Champions On Ice. Choreography and production work became a natural transition after extensive experience with ice shows. Simone has created choreography for a wide variety of companies: Family style entertainment for Disney On Ice, Sea World and Bush Gardens; Country Rock shows for Hard Rock Park; Children’s storybook shows like The Nutcracker and A Christmas Carol On Ice; and Variety shows for Holiday On Ice (Europe) Throughout the years, whether performing or choreographing ice show productions, Simone has devoted her time to developing the skills of young skaters and choreographing their competitive routines. She hopes to continue to inspire everyone to keep reaching for and attain their creative potential.
