Measure your bangle to fit snugly but easily over the widest part of your hand. / thread length 3 m| 9.8 feet | 118 inches 1 www.pikapolina.com TUTORIAL BY APOLLINARIYA KOPRIVNIK HONEYCOMB BANGLE I TIP: It is easier to work with shorter, comfortable lengths of thread and add new thread, rather than work with a very long piece of thread. If you prefer a single thread, start with an extra yard (for a total of 9.8 feet or 3m) On a 6 foot (2m) length of thread string one honeycomb bead, one size 15 seed bead, one size 11 seed bead, one superduo, one size 11 seed bead, and one size 15 seed bead. Repeat stringing to reach the desired bangle length. Measure your bangle to fit snugly but easily over the widest part of your hand. (For about a 6 and a half inch cuff you will string this sequence 17 times.) Knot the beads in a circle and sew through all the beads one more time to secure. Exit a superduo. II II. Reverse direction and sew through the open hole in in the superduo. String: one size 11, one size 15, one honeycomb, one size 15 and one 11. Sew trhough the next honeycomb. Connect all honeycombs around the bangle. Exit through a honeycomb. 2 www.pikapolina.com TUTORIAL BY APOLLINARIYA KOPRIVNIK HONEYCOMB BANGLE III III. Sew through the open hole of the next honeycomb. Connect the honeycombs around the bangle. Sew through the beads to the honeycombs on the other side of the bangle and string the same sequence to connect the open holes of the honeycombs. 3 www.pikapolina.com TUTORIAL BY APOLLINARIYA KOPRIVNIK HONEYCOMB BANGLE IV IV. . Sew through beads and exit a miniduo on either side of the bangle. Reverse direction and sew through the open hole. String this sequence: one size 11, one matubo, one honeycomb, one matubo, and one size 11. Sew through the open hole of the next miniduo. Connect the miniduos with the sequence around the bangle, exiting through a honeycomb. 3 www.pikapolina.com TUTORIAL BY APOLLINARIYA KOPRIVNIK HONEYCOMB BANGLE V V. Reverse direction and sew through the other hole of newly strung honeycomb bead. String one 11 and one matubo. Sew through the open miniduo on the opposite side of the bangle. The honeycomb bead will layer over the previous rows, so that the bangle will become more dimensional. Continue adding matubo and seed beads all around to connect all honeycombs with miniduo beads. Sew around the row again to snug it up and secure. Knot thread to existing thread paths, weave in the end, and trim. 5 www.pikapolina.com TUTORIAL BY APOLLINARIYA KOPRIVNIK HONEYCOMB BANGLE APOLLINARIYA KOPRIVNIK 6 www.pikapolina.com
