The Quercus range of oak furniture combines the
natural beauty of the finest quality solid Oak with
contemporary lines and design tones to make this
a truly outstanding collection of furniture.
1. Based in the UK, Pinetum’s humble beginnings in Pine
bookcase manufacture has now led to it developing a welldeserved reputation as one of the UK’s leading manufacturers
of quality crafted and beautifully designed Oak furniture.

Pinetum’s furniture collections range from our traditional
pine furniture Tuscan and Roman ranges 1 to very
contemporary designs such as those found in the Quercus
and Como ranges. Our philosophy of being led by design
innovation and quality means that Pinetum’s range caters
for every home be it a modern city centre studio or a
grand country house.With over 2000 products available in
the Pinetum collection, each with its own individual
character and style we are sure that there is a piece to suit
every taste and setting.
Each piece of furniture is made-to-order using only the
finest raw materials. Solid oak is used throughout and
there is absolutely no chipboard, veneers or foils to be
found anywhere.
3. Proud of its British manufacturing heritage, Pinetum
currently occupies three factories on a 4 acre site in
Warminster, Wiltshire with over 50,000 square feet of fully
environmentally – controlled production space. Combining
the skills of traditional craftsmanship with high tech
manufacturing processes allows us to create furniture to a
standard which is unsurpassed.
There are many other features which set Pinetum
furniture apart from the crowd including dovetail joints 2
and mortise and tenon joints which all come as standard.
In today’s world of predominantly imported products 3 and
variable standards, Pinetum prides itself on not only
providing exceptionally designed, fully guaranteed top
quality furniture manufactured right here in the UK, but
also on the level of customer service it can provide to
ensure that the pleasure of owning a piece of Pinetum
furniture lasts as long as it does.

Tables, Hall Tables & Chairs
TABLES: Stunning centrepiece design is the key to the Quercus collection
and our table range ensures that this is true in any style of home.
All Quercus tables are made from solid oak and provide a wide
selection of styles to fit into any traditional or modern location.
Built with longevity and quality in mind, features such as framed tops
come as standard on some pieces and all tables are beautifully finished
with chamfered tops to complete these fine pieces of furniture.
Many tables styles are also available in extending versions seating from
four to as many as twelve people, and dependent on style some have
hidden leaves stored inside the table.
HALL TABLES: Quercus solid oak hall tables have been designed to
make the most of situations where space is at a premium. Available
in a slimline selection of 13 and 17 inch deep units, Quercus hall
tables are perfect as telephone and side tables. The small hall table
comes standard with one drawer, with the 4ft and 5ft hall tables
coming with two.
CHAIRS:
A wide variety of solid oak beautifully styled chairs are
available from the Quercus collection each selected to perfectly
complement your choice of Quercus table.
Seat pads are available in a broad selection of fabrics and colours to suit
you own personal taste and room décor.
Additional Information: Pinetum are also pleased to be able to offer their “Customer
specials” service where certain items of furniture can be made, wider, taller or deeper to suit
your own personal size and space requirements. Please note that this only relates to external
dimensions (width, height and depth) and not to product configuration. For more details please
contact your local stockist who will be happy to provide detailed information on this service.

DRESSERS, BASES AND RACKS:
Solid oak Quercus dressers are not
only stunningly designed but great care has been taken to add all the
practicality you require in terms of storage and display.
A huge selection of styles are available in two, three and four bay
versions with both small and large half-glazed or fully-glazed tops.
Options for dressers include; cornice or flat tops and wooden or metal
knobs and handles. Shelves are fully adjustable in both dresser bases
and dresser racks.
Glazed dressers are also available with the Quercus deluxe pack which
includes lights and glass shelves to really enhance these beautiful pieces
of furniture.
All dressers are also available as separate base units only for use as low
level sideboards.

BOOKCASES: An enormous variety of solid oak bookcases are available
in the Quercus range.All of them come with fully adjustable shelves as
standard.The 78, 72 and 66 tall bookcases all have a fixed shelf one
third of the way up to provide additional strength and stability.Three
different shelf depth options are available to ensure safe storage of your
books and files.
OCCASIONAL UNITS: A selected range of occasional units have been
created to compliment the rest of the Quercus living room collection,
ranging from larder cupboards to Tall Boys.
CABINETS: The solid oak Quercus range of cabinets (all with mortise
and tenon door assembly) offers a vast array of units to choose from in
a variety of different configurations and glazed options to make the
most of displaying your prized items.
Half door cabinets provide storage solutions below an open shelved
bookcase, half glazed units offer the security of having everything
behind glazed and panelled doors, whilst fully paneled cabinets provide
for completely hidden storage. A deluxe option which includes fully
adjustable glass shelving and internal low voltage lighting is also
available.

BREAKFAST BARS: Quercus solid oak breakfast bars are a stylish and
practical way to add both extra storage, eating space and working space
to the kitchen. Available in 2 and 3 bay options with internal
adjustable shelves and tops that can be placed in any configuration,
they are exceptionally versatile allowing the unit to either be placed up
against a wall or free standing.

TALL TABLES: Tall tables are available in two sizes and are the ideal
addition to the kitchen for extra eating space and are supplied with
fitted drawers as standard.
BAR STOOLS: To complement the breakfast bars there are a number of
solid wood bar stools available in a variety of different seat pad options

OFFICE DESKS: Create a stylish, versatile and practical home office with
a solid oak Quercus office desk. Available in single pedestal, double
pedestal, and corner versions and 6 different configurations they can be
made to match all your requirements.
Filing chests in the corner desks take standard A4 hanging files.
FILING CHESTS AND PRINTER CABINETS: Individual filing and printer
cabinets are also available in the range. Filing chests have door and
cupboard variations with each filing drawer having hanging file runners
to accommodate standard foolscap hanging files. Printer cabinets are
available with bookracks for additional storage if required.

BEDS: The solid oak Quercus bed collection is comprehensive and
designed to suit every size of bedroom. Most beds come in the full
compliment of sizes – single, double, king size and super king size.
High and low foot end options are also available on selected items. All

DRESSING TABLES AND STOOLS: The Quercus solid oak dressing tables
will bring great style to any bedroom. Available in single and double
pedestal versions they can be complimented perfectly by a Quercus
bedroom stool, which are available in a number of fabric options (see
page 48).
MIRRORS: There are three mirrors available in the Quercus range.
Available with bevelled edges and in varying sizes and shapes, each one
is made from solid oak to match the rest of your bedroom suite and
each comes with all the necessary fittings for easy fixing.

It is important to remember that all Pinetum’s solid Oak and
Pine furniture has been carefully produced using natural organic
materials, the timber has been prepared specifically for use in the
manufacture of interior furniture and has been slowly kiln dried
to bring the moisture content down to 10 to 12%.
Average household humidity levels are between 8 to 12%
depending on climatic conditions. It is therefore imperative that
the furniture be kept in as warm and dry an environment as is
practically possible. Storing the furniture in conditions outside of
these levels will invariably cause a degree of movement and
create potential problems, particularly with doors and drawers.
Minor damage in the form of small scratches, dents and general
wear and tear can easily be remedied using the Pinetum
Furniture Care Kit available from Pinetum stockists. Major
damage and breakages are best taken care of by employing the
services of a local cabinet maker or joiner, alternatively you might
enquire with the store from which you purchased your furniture
about the possibility of a “return and repair”.
NB. Never use chemical, abrasive materials or cleaners on your
Pinetum Furniture.
