Rexnord provides superior products for your industrial applications world wide. We work closely with you to reduce maintenance costs, eliminate redundant inventories and prevent equipment downtime. The Thomas AMR/CMR couplings are used in heavy duty slow to medium speed applications where shock loads, torque reversals or continuous alternating torque is present. New steel hub design allows larger bore capacity. CMR design uses a flywheel adapter plate to bolt directly to the flywheel of an engine or compressor. Applications include: - - - compressors mill drives conveyors crushers Ex II 2G T5 Thomas AMR/CMR Features Benefits Unitized disc pack (Tpack) Ease of installation Cast hubs and center member Robust economical design High overload capacity Reciprocating applications Flywheel adapter Possible to mount directly on engine flywheel Torque Demands Driven Machine Q Typical Application for Electric Motor or Turbine Driven Equipment Constant torque such as centrifugal pumps blowers and compressors 1.0 Continuous duty with some torque variations including plastic extruders and forced draft fans 1.5 Light shock loads from metal extruders, cooling towers and log haulers 2.0 Moderate shock loading as expected from a car dumper, stone crusher, vibrating screen 2.5 Heavy shock load with some negative torques from reciprocating pumps, compressors, reversing turnout tables 3.0 Frequent torque reversals such as reciprocating compressors with frequent torque reversals which do not necessarily include reverse rotations Consult Rexnord Engineering U V std inch Max Continuous Torque Size (Nm) 162 648 U 6 x 8,7 Heavy duty Thomas inch mm inch mm 77/8 200,0 8 x 10,3 71/2 190,50 91/2 8 x 8,7 83/4 222,3 8 x 11,9 85/8 219,80 103/8 6 x 10,3 95/6 249,8 8 x 11,9 91/2 241,30 12 3/8 8 x 10,3 5/8 11 295,3 8 x 13,5 1/2 11 292,10 137/8 8 x 10,3 131/8 333,4 8 x 16,7 121/2 317,50 16 - - - 8 x 19,8 143/8 365,13 183/8 8 x 13,5 171/4 438,2 8 x 19,8 163/4 425,45 203/8 8 x 13,5 191/4 489,0 8 x 23,0 181/2 469,90 221/2 6 x 16,7 213/8 542,9 8 x 26,2 201/2 520,70 261/2 12 x 16,7 251/4 641,4 12 x 26,2 241/2 622,30 287/8 12 x 19,8 271/4 692,2 12 x 26,2 267/8 682,63 D1 D1 J J m m max D2 D2 AMR CMR AMR CMR min-1 min. max. kgm² kgm² kg kg (*) A BA BC CA CC L N min.
