Day 1
Meet your greeter and tour director at your baggage claim area. Depending on your arrival time, you will have time to have
some lunch and enjoy downtown in Salt Lake City, Utah, and the nearby Temple Square before meeting your group for a
short tour of the city. Meet in the lobby at 3:30 pm for the city tour. The rest of the evening is at your leisure.
Day 2
Today we will head southeast over the Wasatch Range to the Canyon Country of Utah, as we begin touring. We will make
a lunch stop for you to enjoy lunch on your own, before arriving in the quaint town of Moab. This evening we will enjoy a
Dutch oven style dinner and the amazing Canyonlands by Night boat ride and light show. Meals Included: breakfast, dinner
Day 3
This morning we will be touring Arches National Park, the first of our six national park tours. You will have time to take short
hikes to some of the arches and we will make plenty of picture stops. After a break for lunch in Moab for you to enjoy on
your own, we will take a jet boat ride down the Colorado River, passing between towering cliffs of the Canyon Country and
into a bit of Canyonlands National Park. You will have the evening free to have dinner on your own and do some shopping.

Day 4
It’s time to head out for a day that has a little of every kind of scenery. We are going through Escalante/Grand Staircase
National Monument where you can see deserts, prairies, mountains, and canyons. It will be a day that has its “ups and
downs” for sure. We will have lunch, included, in Capitol Reef National Park. After lunch we will take our afternoon break
at Anasazi State Park where we will view Native American ruins. Then it’s on to Ruby’s Inn at the edge of Bryce Canyon
National Park. Meals included: breakfast, lunch
Day 5
You have the morning to enjoy the various optional activities in the Bryce area such as helicopter tours, mule rides, and of
course shopping. Sleeping in a bit might be on your agenda as well. This afternoon we will take the rim tour of Bryce Canyon
National Park. There will be many stops for photos and a visit to the visitor’s center. The evening is yours to enjoy, perhaps a
dip in the indoor pool or hot tub (especially if you went on the mule ride). Meal included: breakfast
Day 6
“On the road again...” We will gain an hour today as we head for the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. We will have a stop at
Southern Utah’s “movie Central”, Kanab, for a rest break before heading to the Canyon. This afternoon we will take a tour of
some of the overlooks. The evening will be free to enjoy wandering the North Rim and take in an evening ranger program.

Day 7
Today we are on to national park number five. Zion National Park is divided into three different areas. We will see the upper
part of Zion as we enter the park and drop down to the inner canyon as our day progresses. You get a different perspective
when you are down inside the canyon instead of looking into it from above. This afternoon we will have an open air tram
tour of Zion Canyon and the rest of the day will be yours to enjoy this magnificent park and the town of Springdale. Don’t
forget the farewell dinner tonight! Meal included: breakfast
Day 8
We are Vegas bound with bags out at 7:30AM and departure at 8:30AM! With a few stops in between (and we gain another
hour). Valley of Fire State Park will be our first stop of the day. The bizarre rock formations will amaze you. Then we head
into Las Vegas to drop off our bags at our hotel so that we can visit Hoover Dam. You will be amazed at the size and scale
of this modern wonder as we tour the inner working of the dam and hear the story of how it was created. The bridge over
Black Canyon has been completed and we hope to take a ride over it as well. It is a wonder all its own! This evening is all
yours to enjoy the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas, or you can take an optional tour with us to the Fremont
Street Experience and a ride down the strip to see the lights. Then you are on you own to visit whatever casino you would
like. Meals included: breakfast, lunch
Day 9
Your tour director will advise you of your departure times and can accommodate those departing up to 4:00PM today. We
hope you will travel home with new friends and great memories of your Journey West! Meal included: breakfast
