I will fill in for the Steve until the 1st of 2013 and then we will have to have a new leader. up and serve your chapter. December 8th ~ Our Christmas party @ the Branding Iron in Toppenish January 1st 2013 ~ New Year’s Day Breakfast @ the Powerhouse & Grill on 40th in Yakima Anything after that is going to be up to somebody else to plan. (our new CD & staff) Chapter M is going to start a Raffle for Steve & family at our October meeting. This raffle has the potential to raise a lot of money that can help the Williams family with many of their medical expenses. The only way that the raffle will work is if EVERBODY sells a lot of raffle tickets. Winners will be drawn at our December 1st meeting. For the first time in several years the weather was very warm and sunny. NO RAIN! I would like to give a BIG Thank You to Chapter P; they donated their share of their 50/50 drawing of $285 to Steve & family, plus they passed the hat and the other GWRRA members in attendance donated another $500. Thank you Chapter P and ALL the GWRRA members! You ROCK! It appears Chapter P will be holding their Oyster Feed 2013 at a different location, they will announce that at a later date. Also for 2013 some changes for camping at the Region I rally in Pendleton, OR will be happening. Stay tuned for more information in the upcoming months. Don’t forget!
