Mad Science
Mad Science birthdays are one of a kind. The children will begin with some science related magic tricks and
participate in a series of experiments. Each child will take home their own slime or silly putty.
 Package A – Air Blast (3-5 years old) Air and Air Pressure Experiment
This show will introduce the children to the principles and the power of air pressure. The children will
explore mini tornados, witness the expansion of a gas that will create a small canon and melt objects
right in front of your eyes.
 Package B – Mad About Blue (3-12 years old) Light and Electricity Experiments
The children will discover the properties of a black light and create indoor lightning. They will be
introduced to nitrocellulose, known as ‘Flash Paper’, and give the kids an exciting fireworks display,
indoors! They will make their own sticky, gooey slime, to take home!
 Package C – Reactions In Actions (3-12 years old) Different Chemicals Reactions
Kids will learn about physical vs. chemical reactions. They will experiment with homemade heat and
ice packs. They will learn about chemiluminescence, a chemical that glows in the dark and change to
fantastic colours. They will take home their very own slime.
