In today’s telecom market both operators and customers are faced with many challenges and seek multiple
solutions for making cellular calls safely within the car environment. This may be due to regulation forcing
customers not to hold their cellphones while driving, the cellular Operators desire to generate increased ARPU
from existing customers and the fear of electrical emissions within the car. All of these challenges and more
lead to the need of a better and smarter solution to communicate while driving.
Accel Telecom is proud to offer the first fixed CarfoneTM based on Android OS and 3G technology. The Accel
CarfoneTM series is well designed; it increases in-car safety compared to all other technologies offered in the
market and includes multiple innovations by adding critical services for the driver such as navigation, voice
dialing, car centric media, in-car WiFi and more.
Mobile operators with experience of selling Accel CarfoneTM devices have increased ARPU from existing
customers and have found that churn is prevented compared to all other “in-car” phone solutions (BT,
headsets, zero install HFK, full install HFK etc).

heat resistant TFT multitouch LCD, in-car WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, RS232&485 connections for expansions and more.
Accel CarfonesTM are based on Qulacomm proven 3G technology and chipsets, have been tested to meet
electrical, environmental and safety standards for the car environment, provide excellent capabilities for voice
calls and the additional features.
Our Offering
Operators that have deployed CarfonesTM have shown increased ARPU from existing customers as they tend
to speak more from their cars due to the simplicity of this solution and its ease of use. They have also found
less churn from CarfoneTM customers. The CarfoneTM series from Accel will also allow the installed units to
become new sources of revenue from various data services they provide via the CarfoneTM (ie. navigation,
WiFi, music and more).

AMOS - Spacecom-5 satellite, launched in 2011 to 17°E, a new orbital location, is
providing pan-African C-band and Ku-band capacity to the entire African continent, with
access to Europe and the Middle East.
With the scheduled launch of the AMOS - Spacecom-4 satellite in 2012 to the 65°E orbital
location, Spacecom’s coverage will expand to Asia. The Ku-band and Ka-band enabled on
AMOS - Spacecom-4 satellite, will expand Spacecom’s coverage area to Southeast and
Central Asia, as well as augment the AMOS - Spacecom-5 satellite’s coverage over Africa.
AMOS - Spacecom-6 is planned for launch in 2015 to the 4˚W orbital location, where it
